...sent a thank you card to a particular place/DLP?

We would really like to send a thank you card to the staff at Auberge and City Hall for really making Rosebug's birthday weekend so amazing. I know it is their job's etc. but I am would like to send a more personal thank you, rather than just emailing.

Does anyone know how I would go about it?

Thank you

I've never done this or known anyone who has, but I think it's a really lovely idea! :goodvibes

I would send the letter/card to guest relations.

Far as I know Aubrege won't have it's own specific address. You'ld likely have to go through a central address.

A quick google pulled up an address for "Guest Relations" who might be able to pass your messages to the right areas though : )

Alternatively (because I'm not sure how up to date that address is...) you could email DLP via their online email form to ask if they'll accept thank you notes ect. Though I should imagine they welcome any kind words, as it keeps staffs spirits up : ). Though I know at least in american parks, CM's will accept gifts. I gave almost all the pooh characters a drawing a WDW once because I wanted to do something for them!

:goodvibes Have never done it but I think it is a great idea. I think people are far more likely to complain than be positive about things so it will probably make a really nice change for the staff who recieve it. :goodvibes

Thanks guys.

I am a firm believer in giving praise and thanks when it is due, as well as complaining when it is needed! LOL! Rosebug must be sick of writing thank you cards after Christmas and Birthdays but she better get used to it! ;)

The character interaction was amazing across the board, but some just went above and beyond what they needed to do, and in my opinion, deserve thanks for that.

DD has made, with help of course, a thank you card for the staff at Auberge, with her birthday photo from there, as it really was like nothing I have ever experienced, Inventions couldn't touch it in terms of magic and character interaction, and that is saying something as that was fantastic too, and some pictures she drew and a thank you to City Hall and Rapunzel for their magic!

I will email DLP, and if I get nowhere I will post them to the address above. Thank you!

What a lovely idea - I do agree that you should give praise where it is due if someone has gone above and beyond :).

I recently had an experience with Tomy (toys) which was fabulous. I was so overawed by it that I emailed their CS to let them know how pleased I was. I think it is nice to do this when these days we often get fed shoddy CS and almost seem to accept it in this country :scared1:.

Hope you get sorted out :thumbsup2

PS - Am off to bed now but will defo try and read your TR tomorrow :)

Hi yes we've done it before, sent to the above address and got a lovely reply. I also think its very important to thank / praise good service as we're all too quick these days to criticise, they really appreciate it.

I've both emailed and written before. I agree it's really nice to show appreciation - people are so quick to complain but not quite so willing to praise, unfortunately. (That's one of the reasons why I always take the reviews on Trip Adviser with a pinch of salt! :rotfl: )

I sent a thank you email saying how much we enjoyed our last trip and couldn't wait to come back! We received a signed snow white an dopey photo and letter saying they were glad to hear we had such a good time and a reference number to use I used it when we booked and they we would be well looked after being such loyal guests :) x

I too think it is important to give praise where it is due and have emailed before, though never received (or expected) a reply. We have also often called in at City Hall just before we leave and verbally given praise for certain cast members or events we have been especially thrilled with during our stay and our comments have been written down. I think individual cast members mentioned in this way are informed or at least it is noted collectively for them.

I too e-mailed to thank them for a magical trip and got a lovely reply. I'd made a note of the names of the CMs that had made it all so special for DD1. If someone sent me a message of thanks at work it would have made my day :)
