.... babysitting services at Disney?
Let me preface this with the fact that I have never left my children with anyone but family. lol...I know that sounds nuts, but I've just always had family available. That being said, my oldest daughter is now in school. She's 7, but I have a one year old as well. She'll be about 18 months when we go to WDW.
I'm going with my family and friends, who also have chilren, ages 8 & 9. We all wanted to have an "adults night" but were concerned with leaving our kids with someone. I was told that there were child sitting services at the resorts, but wanted some insider information. Has anyone ever used this? What was your experience? Do you know where I can get more information?
Thanks, in advance

We haven't used the baby sitting service but we have used the kids clubs. The 1st time 3 years ago when my kids were 6,8 and 9. We were so worried, (like you we only have had family watch our kids), and even went back early. My kids chased us out. They LOVED it. Since then they have stayed at the Simba Club 2xs (At the Animal Kingdom Lodge) and 1x at the Neverland (at the Poly) The 1st thing they want to know when we check in is when can they go. August when we were there we even had them stay during dinner. Just call the dining line to make reservations. They give them dinner if you check in by a certain time. There is a 2 hour min. and the fee was $11 per child per hour. It was worth the added expense. DH and I had our anniversary dinner and walked around the poly and the Floridian. They give you a beeper and ask where you are planning on going. Dinner for the kids was basic, chicken nuggets, ham and cheese sandwich, fries or grapes, a pudding and juice or milk. They enjoyed it. The kids can play on their own (my boys just wanted to play the video games) or the cast members will play or do crafts with the kids (more daughter loved this). It allows you to have a great family vacation but still have the option of spending a little adult time with your spouse.
