Im considering selling Partylite candles and Im interested in anyones opinions....Good or Bad! Im thinking the extra money would be good for our Disney addiction and I cant seem to find any flaws in the products. Thanks

Shannon

I used to sell Party LIte! :) Great products. And when something goes wrong, I have to say they are quick to pull it off the market and fix the problem. I don't know about making money at it. I was definitely addicted to the product and supported my addiction that way! LOL! I gave it up due to lack of parties, but I have a TON of great smelling candles at home. ;) Good luck!

no. but i have a friend that does. i cannot sell it. i would spend more money than i would make!:teeth:

Never sold them but I went to a Partylite party the other day. A little too expensive for my liking, though. I bought 3 votive holders for $25. I don't even want to think about how much less they would have cost at Pier One.

Other then that, I really think that they would be a good way to make money. I have also been to a Gourmet Chef party and if I cooked, I probably would have bought a lot of that stuff. But alas, I don't cook.

I have a friend who does Passion Parties. I would explain, but it's a little adult for these boards. She makes really good money, though.

I think if you are a good seller, you should go for it. All of these things seem like a good way to make extra money.

<font color=navy>I've hosted a Partylite once. I love their candles and how they liquify when they're burning. I have some of their merchandise, and I like their candles even more than Yankee Candles :sunny:

And the neat thing is that if it spills, the liquid is cool...not burning hot! Good with little ones around.

I have to say that their candles are the VERY BEST! I have been to several parties. I would not sell cause that is not me, but I would gladly attend a party:D Seriously, the other products they sell seem to be very overpriced to me but the candles themselves are beyond compare. Just my opinion, but I buy them whenever I can. If you have a base of customers to sell them, go for it, it is a great product and you will suceed. Good Luck:D

I've been to a few of their demonstrations.....I think all my nieces had one last year (you know the routine...go to one, ya gotta go to them all! ) Just got another invite the other day!! I love the candles but they do seem expensive. I do want to talk to them though...one of the metal votive holders I bought broke when it fell and hit the carpet! (it looked like a little tin bucket - the top rim wasn't attached correctly and it came off). Maybe they would replace it for me! I got one heck of a cut trying to fix it (the top rim under the attached rim is a straight edge cut!):earseek:

A friend of mine use to do that. I have hosted 2 parties and been to many! They are alittle expensive but there candles are great. The scents are wonderful. I just think they might be hard to sell being you can get the same stuff for so much cheaper(the other stuff not the candles)

Now my addiction, PAMPERED CHEF!!!!!! I host about 2 parties a year and am always buying stuff from my rep! Everytime I have a party everyone is so excited about it. Last time I had 25 people!! Their products are great and the shows are fun because the rep does demonstrations and we get to eat it!! Usually a appetizer and dessert.

I haven't heard anything negative about the company Partylite I just don't know how much you can make doing it.

My friend (Bouncy here on the DIS) used to do Partylite, she actually did a fundraiser for the pre school I work in, we made a lot of money for it.
Have to agree with the other posters the stuff is really expensive but the candles are great and the scent from them is wonderful.

I am currently a consultant and LOVE THE COMPANY!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend being a consultant.........you can make what you put into it! I have made pretty decent money with little effort. The best thing is the NO COST start up ~ so you have nothing to lose! PM me with any questions you may have!!!!

You don't have to "sell" the product because it sells itself. We truly have the best candles on the market!!

Do talk to your consultant! She/he should be able to get that piece replaced for you ~ ~ PartyLite is very good about that!!

I have a friend who does it. She seems to enjoy it and speaks highly of the products. She is a fan of candles and enjoys discussing with others ideas on how to incorporate the candles in their decor.

Thanks for all the positive feedback! I think im going to do it, but Im not going to start for a few more months. I had a party end yesterday and I would have had to sign the contract right then and I have to get some things in order before I do it! I love the candles and because I love them Im sure it would be easy to sell them! I knew I could post here and I would get some opinions, I just didnt expect them to all be positive!
