I'm not sure if this has been posted or if this is the right location for this post... but I was thinking about the last time I was at WDW, pry 8 years ago..... my family and I were dining at a fancy restaurant at the boardwalk (I can't recall the name- maybe one of you all can help me out).... This GORGEOUS woman walks by and I'm the only one out of my family to see her. I go, "That woman that walked by looked a LOT like Christie Brinkley..." My family didn't believe that it could really be her...so we asked our waiter..."Hey was that Christie Brinkley?????" .... He goes, "Yeah, and if you think thats cool....Earth, Wind and Fire are over at the bar...." :hippie:
We look over and three older african american gentlemen were sitting at the bar :rotfl: I wanted to say something to the guys in E,W, and F, but I couldn't for the life of me remember what songs they sang!!!! My brother kept "going to the bathroom" to get a glimpse of Christie Brinkley  . It was a fun night. Anyone else ever see someone famous??????????

On my very 1st trip to WDW we saw Donny and Marie - It was quite exciting for an 9 year old!

When I was little I was outside of RnRC and I saw a girl modeling for cameras and she kept taking off outfits and there would be another outfit. After that was all done she was signing autographs.I have no clue who it was because I didnt have anything for her to sign and I didnt want her to sign my minnie mouse t-shirt because I thought my mom would get mad at me.lol

I still wonder who that was.:confused3

I'm just hoping to meet Eeyore

;)

We think we saw Eric Estrada (CHIPS) a couple years ago in DTD:)
(for those of you who, like me, are old enough to remember.)
I sort of paused and the woman he was with just smiled and nodded.
He had a little girl on his shoulders.

On one of our trips, maybe it was in 2000, but I'm not sure...we had TS at the restaurant in the Wilderness Lodge, and the waitress told us that Arnold Schwarzenegger & Maria Shriver had the same table right before us. But rats! we didn't see them.

We saw John Denver at MGM. I wasn't his biggest fan, but it was exciting for my husband at that time.

We saw Pauline Quirke (UK actress) in Frontierland about 7 years ago.
We also saw Fred the Weatherman (ITV - weatherman from Albert Dock) at Manchester airport on way to WDw (does that count???):rotfl:

One of the reasons I truly enjoy going to WDW is because I meet the rich and famous every time I go: Mickey & Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale, et cetera! :rotfl2:

There's been numerous threads. Next time, please do a search through the search engine before posting.

Yes - I have seen:

Celine Dion - saw her at FOLK
Haley Joel Osment - in line for Mickey at Camp Minnie/Mickey and then at FOLK
Johnny Depp (but not up close) backstage
Chili (from the band TLC) at Crystal Palace with her family. What a nice family.

Numerous sports figures, but because I do not follow sports - half the time I have no idea who they are. In fact, I stood and talked to Vinnie Testaverde (sp?)while he was waiting for his wife at CRT and had no idea that he was anyone famous at all!! After he and his family went upstairs to be seated, everyone was like "Don't you know who you were just talking to!?"

As cast members - we can't make a fuss/ask for autographs etc., but - I gave my autograph to one of the guys on the Chicago Bulls team. (funny/silly story there!)

BTW - There can sometimes be numerous threads about the same topic, but with the search feature being what it is these days, unless that other thread is within the first few pages - I wouldn't sweat it. I looked at the posting guidelines and there is nothing there saying that you must search for a topic before posting.

Regis & Kelly, we were there when they were taping the parade. Gelman if that counts.
Jane Seymour at the Yacht Club
McClean Stevenson at Sci Fi
Joan Lunden at Coral Reef (not a lovely woman at all)
Melissa Sue Anderson at Citrico's

My DH has sited athletes but I had no idea who he was talking about just knodded my head yes.

We saw Toby Keith! He was walking with a woman from Disney down Main Street at MK! I was shocked he was just walking right out in the open, but then again, how else would he have gone? ;)

I saw Dee Snyder from Twister Sister a few years ago in Downtown Disney shopping with his family.

I saw Mariah Carrey a few years back. She was taping for the christmas parade. We also saw Enrique Eglaisis the year before that (I know I totally botched the spelling on this). Also last May my husband saw a famous football player from the Carolina Panthers. He pointed him :cheer2: out to me but I would never have known he was anyone famous since I do not follow pro sports. I only watch the Buckeyes! GO BUCKS!!!

Lets start this post off with a shout out to jgart GO BUCKS!!!

When I was there in the Summer while waiting in line for the Hoop Dee Doo show out walks the Lawrence brothers from the Previous show. It just so happened that Joey Lawrence was getting married the next day at the Grand Floridian. And to this day we do not know if it was really Junior Soprano or not that we saw at Wolfgang Pucks or not. The guy really looked like him.

We were staying at The Yacht Club, rode the elevator with Hootie from Hootie and the Blow Fish.
