Has anyone ever purchased from the Timeshare Store?

We'd like to buy into OKW, which is currently sold out. They have some pretty reasonable offers on the Timeshare Store's web page, but we're naturally hesitant.

Was wondering if any of you have had any experiences with them? If so, can you tell me if Disney treats you the same as any other DVC member?

Yes, we bought more OKW points from the Timeshare Store and had wonderful service--no problems whatsoever. I believe the lady who helped us was named Chantall. I, too, was hesitant about buying resale, but it turned out to be very easy. Timeshare Store is a reputable place.Disney treats you exactly the same as if you'd purchased from them. Good Luck with your OKW purchase.

We also bought at the Timeshare Store, Chantelle also was our salesperson. Our purchase was quick and enjoyable, I'd work with them again in a heartbeat. Once the transaction closes, Disney treats everyone the same whether bought directly from them or through a resale.

We also used Shontell at the Timeshare Store. My husband was very skeptical and we called the BBB in Orlando and chamber of Commerce to see if they were reputible. I also asked on this board. Well, bless Shontell for having the patience with my DH. she was very good. She has called several times after because I put myself on an add-on list for OKW and my DH gets nervous when she calls!!!!

It was very easy and painless. DH just gets nervous when I spend money!!! And I am really good at that!!!

I used Shontel at the TST and Jaki @ A Timeshare Broker. Both were very professionsal and both buys went through without any glitches!

We have bought two contracts from the TimeShare Store through Pat Spell. No problems at all. We found Pat to be knowledgeable and a tell-it-like-it-is type of salesperson.

Another happy Timeshare Store customer. We purchased our original 210 points at Old Key West directly from DVC in 1995. When we decided to add on in 1999, we got a great deal on 230 more points from Shontell at The Timeshare Store. They were great to work with. Yes we actually bought 2 different shares for OKW with no problem and saved alot of money. I dealt with Pat Spell and email me with any questions if you want to know. It is the way to go in that you save a lot of money. Go for it you will not be sorry!!!

I just bought a 350 point OKW package at through the timeshare store and the experience was great. Jerry Sydow was our sales person and he was unbelievably helpful. Do your research and good luck!!!

We had made an inquiry on a resale with the Timeshare Store but did not get a phone call back so we ended up using A TIMESHARE BROKER instead. Had a great experience.

Wife and I purchased from the Timeshare Store and had no problems.

I would also add that you should search the net for other sites that sell timeshares. My mother just purchased 275 points to OKW for $55 a point.
