Has anyone ever gotten a wait list after the 30 day timeframe?

The 30 day mark for trying to get a studio -std. view was up on Friday. No luck - callede MS - they said I can be put on the wait list for until 7 days prior to arrival. Anyone ever get a wait list that close to their check in date? I'm assuming if anyone was going to cancel, it would be prior to 30 days.

I am curious as I am on waitlist for a two bedroom at BW for April 15 April 20. We have rooms but really need a two bedroom.

We currently have a 2BR at VWL for 4/14-20 but are waitlisted at VB. We got on the waitlist the very 1st day possible at the 7 month window.
We too are within the 30 day window and getting anxious.

Who knows, if our VB ressie comes through, there will be a 2BR open at VWL.

We are on a wait list for Vero for 4/15 - 4/20 as well. I'm not expecting it to come through so we'll be at OKW.

You are waitlisted for a standard view studio at Boardwalk Villas. Only 17% of the villas at BWV are standard view. I think your chances of clearing the waitlist would be improved if you had requested a preferred view.

In Early Nov., we did get lucky under the 30 day mark. We added two standard studios. It may be tougher being that it's April. Do you already have rooms to fall back on? You can always hope that some of the rooms that they're doing renovations outside of finish early. Good Luck.

I have gotten a standard view 4 days before I left - so it does work sometimes.

If they are waitlisting you, there still is a possibility for getting a room. We have been on the waitlist and gotten our request less than 30 days from our arrival. There has been at least one instance for an Oct. trip that they refused to waitlist us because the list was so long already.

So, the possibility's there.

Last May we were wait listed for a 1-bedroom at BWV. We had a studio reserved and I had the automatic waitlist which I updated at the 30 day mark. The week before we left I received the confirmation for the 1-bedroom. So I guess that it does happen within that time frame. Not sure how often it happens though.

We got our room less than 4 days out. We needed a two bedroom at the BWV for one night, a Monday. I was going to be in Orlando visiting relatives so I thought it would be nice to stay over one night. I started 3 weeks out, nothing. I got out on the waitlist, nothing. I called every day in the morning and at about 3:00pm. On Friday morningI got the two bedroom for Monday.

MS told me they would put on the 7 day out list. Can you get it at 4 days? Do you need to request that?

Seven days prior to the date you fall off the wait list and have to call for availiblity. They no longer call you. You need ot call them daily. I would call in the morning them at about 3:00.

A couple years ago I got into a Vero 1BR after being on the waitlist. I got the call about two weeks before going.
