Has anyone ever eaten at Tony's at the Magic Kingdom?

I just called today, to have my mom and I eat there. Neither one of us has eaten there before, so I am just wondering about how it is?

We both love pasta dishes, so that's kind of why I picked it and the other reason is to try a new place to eat at!

Thanks in advance!

I did not enjoy our food there. I had a chicken dish that was undercooked and had to be sent back. However, my family got pasta dishes and were happy with their choices. Steer clear of the meat though!

We ate there a few times. The last 2 times were terrible--service & food. Granted, it was a number of years ago. I hope others have been there more recently with good reviews!

This is not good to hear, maybe I made the wrong choice to eat there.

What about the Plaza or what else is good to eat at, we want to eat at the Magic Kingdom.

I have not personally eaten at the Plaza but I've read good reviews of it here on dis. You might want to try Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch or the Crystal Palace. Also, if you don't mind a short monorail ride to the Mk resorts, Kona Cafe at the Poly is great:)

The Plaza is good. The menu is mostly sandwiches, unless it's changed. LTT is good. Meal is served family style & includes turkey, beef & ham with sidedishes of mac & cheese, filling, green beans, salad & dessert. It was a character meal. I think it characters continue until January. I may be wrong about that. Crystal Palace is ok too.

Yep, you are right it is mostly sandwiches. Nothing to special really. I am trying to talk my mom and going to the LTT for dinner, for the character meal. The only downside is that it does cost a lot. But I know that it is very good food wise there and love to see Mickey Mouse and friends there too! I know my mom would love it, if I can get her to see past the price of it. It's like what they say, you get for what you pay for.

I have eaten once at the Crystal Palace and was not very happy with it, but that's another story.

Tony's Town Square (TS) ☺☺☻
Canned Italian food. The atmosphere is neat if you like Lady and the Tramp but there are much better places to get Italian. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the food here is bad. It’s just another “we’re stuck in a park and have to eat” place.

We ate there in Aug. 2007. There were six of us and not a single person liked it. Three of us (the ladies) order the same dish, it was a breaded piece of chicken ( i forget what it was called) and we all thought it was gross. I know we won't be eating there again! We are going in two weeks and the first thing my Aunt said was "You take care of the ADR's, I don't care where we eat as long as its not Tony's"

But thats just my opinion (and my families). I am sure others have had wonderful meals there!
