Ok so I have had ADR for 11 of us at Chef Mickey at 10am for MONTHS. Well one of my sons asked if he could bring his finance's niece and nephew (ages 4 & 5). We would love to have them!!! The youngest in our original party is 14 so it would be nice to do the character breakfast with little ones. Well I have been trying everyday for weeks to change our reservation to a party of 13 through the website (obviously impossible). Should I just try to call Chef Mickey the day before and see if we can add two to the reservation?

Call Disney Dining direct. It's easier for them to amend your ressie rather than doing it on line. you can do it but I've heard where others have had to cancel and rebook and you may not get the ressie you want.

I would also look for an ADR for two. YOu may or may not be seated together, but if you can find a space for the two extra's you knwo you will at least all be dining at the same time. Heads up...Disney will try to seat all of you together, but there are times they will split the party up. It has happened to me. We sat in two different tables, two different servers, but right across the aisle from one another. We were fine with that, but if you are not aware, you may feel blindsided.

Thank you! I did try to call and no luck...she also told me to have someone else in our party make a ADR for 2 and tell the podium that we are together... I didn't even thin about us being split up and I remember this happening before so thank you for the reminder that this may happen.

Don't get discouraged. Keep looking and something should turn up. I would have a second MDE account in somone else's name so you can make that second ADR when it opens. I have my DD's account so I can make ADR's for all of us when we split up for dinner. The system won't let you make two different AD's in the same time frame.

Keep calling.... like everyday if necessary.

Have someone else in your party try to make the ADR in their name for 13 and see what happens. Then you can cancel yours.

Make 2 one for 6 and one for 7 then at the podium ask to be seated together or back to back and if possible the same severs as you have kids that might be sitting at the different table, this will cut down on confusion when trying to pay the bill. Also your gratuity will be automatically added in.
