Has anyone ever been there the last week in Aug?

My DH and I were there from 8/24-9/1/02 (which was day before Labor Day). Our first FOUR days there it did not rain so the humidity was down and we walked onto soooo many rides. The ToT- got right on, rode, got off, and right back on! The crowds were terrible the Friday of Labor Day weekend. It had rained and the bodies so close together in line just made it worse. I think having gone through summer made the heat something we were used to. This year we are going mid September in hopes that the crowds will be even smaller, but from what it sounds, the numbers are up this year. There were alot of British when we were there, I don't know when their school year is.
