Has anyone else not gotten their 2005-2006 Planner

[SIZE=+0]I don't know what's going on with DVC mailings, but I never got the new 2005-2006 Planner. Anyone else also missing theirs?[/SIZE]

We did not get ours either. Did get a notice today about the 'new' discount on AP's, though. I thought that was kind of wierd, thought they would have sent that a while ago since the discount went into effect in January.

We finally got the planner about two weeks ago. We never got the Winter Vacation Magic, though.

Something is wrong in mudville, for the great DVC has struck out....

We never got the VM nor the VP so I sent an e-mail to MS explaining everything. Received a nice e-mail back that they put in an order for both the VM and the VP.

Zoom ahead. I receive 2-packages one day. On the outside of one the label is marked "DVCPLANR", great. I opened it up and inside was the new vacation planner.

The label on the outside of the other envelope said "VACMAGIC" so I thought great, DVC came through. But I open it up. Vacation Magic inside? Nope, but another copy of the DVC Planner book.

Fast Forward a few more days. Another envelope arrives (priority mail no less) and I'm thinking maybe this is the Vacation Magic I didn't get. But the label on this one reads "MBRHNDBK", and inside is the New Member Handbook (It's about the same thickness as the Planner.)This is the book that goes to brand new members. (This would be for new members to supplement the information in the Vacation Planner book, and includes information such as was found in the old thick Member's Guidebook (2003-2003 was the last issue of that book)).

PLUS, this package also had a copy of the Vacation Planner.

So, got 3 copies of the Planner, 0 copies of Vacation Magic, and 1 copy of the New Member Handbook.

On the plus side, unexpectedly receiving the new member handbook is coming in handy for checking some of the DVC rules as I'm programming my DVC-Tracker computer program.

Thought I'd wait awhile to see if anything else comes (I don't think any will) before trying to get the VM winter issue again. Don't know what to do for sure as don't want to be single-handedly responsible for doubling our dues next year because of excessive 2005 mailing costs.....

Never got it here... and we used to get 2 of everything becasue of our two UYs... now nothing...

[SIZE=+0]Wow, so it's definitely not just me then. I too emailed MS about the missing mailings (I never get the Vacation Magics either), but still haven't heard back. I called my guide, and she left me a return msg saying she would mail it to me. One week later, I got a copy of the New Member Guidebook (just like you, Caskbill!).

I didn't want to bother my guide again, so I've just been waiting... and waiting...

On a side note, that New Member Guidebook is pretty useful. Also, I noticed they changed the info about how many towels are in each bathroom. Now they use the wording "Towel Package" and tell you to refer to the DVC website for the definition of what's included in a "Towel Package". It's interesting for those of you who remember we had a discussion over a year ago about the official # of towels you're supposed to get on Trash/Towel Day.[/SIZE]

We received both the Member Handbook and the 05-06 Planner with our contract in early Feb. I have used it 100 times and I'm sure you are all in need of yours too. Sending pixie dust that they'll arrive soon!

I never received either the vacation magic or the vacation planner. I have called Member Services twice (on 12/20 and 2/8) asking for a planner. I was told they would get one sent out right away but I have not received any. We also have 2 differennt use years.

And people think that MS could handle the complexity of on-line reservations? Someone reserves a 2BR NS at VWL and ends up getting 5 Studios - all Smoking - at OKW!

I wouldn't wait for the website to have the Winter Vacation Magic ... the latest shown there is Summer, 2004!

Someone from DVC actually called me back in January to check if I had received it yet and told me they would send one out to me. I still don't have it! (I'm a new member so I was impressed by the call but now I'm not so impressed since I still don't have it!)

WE haven't received one yet either, Did get the winter VM though. I believe an outside firm does the mailing for DVC on items like this. So it's probably a problem with them.

I'm going to send an email on the member site to ask WHEN!!

But if I remember from yrs past, the Vacation planners are always late.

We didn't receive our planner or Winter VM. I called MS at the beginning of February about the planner (figured VM wasn't that big of a deal) and received it about a week later.

Winter VM is online (even though it show summer '04 in the box). If you go through to look at other issues, Winter '04 is there.
