Has anyone else had an "underwhelming experience at portifino bay???

Maybe it doesn't seem right, but this is standard hotel practice. Anyone 18 and older is considered an adult for room rates. Most places don't ask ages though.

Most of the world sees an adult at age 18 but we still see them as our children.:thumbsup2

i agree, it is a standard hotel practice.

It's only "standard" at some hotel chains. Seems the pricier ones like Loews, Disney, Mandalay Bay in Vegas. Those are the only ones where I have been charged for an extra adult.

Hojo's, Best Western, Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, etc. etc don't seem to care as long as it's 4 in a room.

Its normally where there is attractions that they do this. I think its not the pricier hotels, but onsite ones. Its to keep a bunch of people from crashing in the room and splitting the cost not that anyone has done that before.:rolleyes1

I've stayed at PBH twice and enjoyed both stays. I stayed at HRH once and was underwhelmed by it (didn't receive room service on a couple of days). I've stayed at RPR a few times and most of those visits have been very enjoyable.

I think if the kids have some sort of school ID to prove they are a student, they should be allowed in free until they are 21.

I Love that Idea!!!!!!! :worship::worship:
Now if these hotels would just love it too! ;)
