I previously posted this in the wrong place. I will blame that on being sleep-deprived with a newborn. Has anyone eaten here? We have a ressie on Saturday.

We were there about two weeks ago, a Sunday about 2PM. The place was absolutely empty - I don't know if this is due to the time of day, but there couldn't have been more than a dozen or so guests. The atmosphere is very calming, lots of pale woods, brushed metals and blue/green glass. Food was not what I expected - more along the lines of a local (non-chain) bistro-type restaurant. We had crab cake appitezer (and they do mean ONE crab cake - just barely enough for two to share); vegetarian sandwich; and I can't even remember the other entree. I don't regret going there, but I wouldn't choose it again.

I just got back today! My teenaged boys and mother ate breakfast there 4 times during our stay. They didnt want to go to the character meals I had planned with hubby and DD4. They loved breakfast...walked in without ressie. The place was empty. Because it is new and was not available when people were booking their 180s, nobody reserved this place. Im sure it will get a lot busier, especially due to the new timeshare with 1000+ rooms opening nextdoor with catwalk to the Contemporary.

we ate there in October and while it was nice, we probably will not go back. the decor was serene (but we thought it should have been blue, not browns) but the food was nothing to brag about.

I'll take the Kona over this anyday!

aes74,

Well, your thread was moved to this forum and I had already made a comment there :). So, let me just copy my answer below:

We had dinner there in September and found it excellent!! The place is quiet, relaxed, and the food is very good.

You can find some of my impressions here:

BTW, those are beautiful princesses!!

We had dinner at the Wave a few weeks ago and I loved it. I thought it was the best meal of the trip. It was full when we were there but service was excellent. I had the pork dish which was great. I loved the desserts - I picked three different ones from the trios instead of one of the complete trios. I had the carrott/zuchini cake (fabulous), chocolate mousse, and cheesecake. Afterwards, we went outside to watch the fireworks. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Last trip we snagged a reservation, tried it, won't be going back. Alot of money for a medicire meal, nothing fancy, just over priced. there are other restaurants in WDW alot better than this one. At least we gave it a try, the bar section is very nice but as with all of Disney World, over priced.

thanks!!! I will check my other thread too!!
