Just wondering if anyone here has eaten at all the sitdown's in Epcot yet? Since we became DVC that has been one of our goals to eat in all of the countries and sit downs. We might be able to complete this task on our up coming trip. I was just curious to see if anyone has has done this or even thought about doing it. Also, I'm sure someone will ask so what I'm talking about is doing this over several trips, not all in one.

The only one we haven't tried yet is the Morocco- and we are doing that one next trip.

I've eaten at

Le Cellier
Marrakesh
San Angel Inn
Akershus

I have planned for my next trip

Rose and Crown
Chefs de France
Nine Dragons

and planned for my Oct 07 trip (don't ask why I'm already planning this, I'm just that obsessive about ADR's)

Teppanyaki
Alfredos
Bistro de Paris

So that would only leave Biergarten for me to try. But this is if I stick with my plans, which change all the time. At least now I feel that the Dec plan is going to stay about 90% the same.

I've also eaten at Coral Reef, and have Garden Grill on my Dec trip planned. So by my Dec 2009 trip, I can add Biergarten, and then I would of tried all Epcot restaurants, and not just World Showcase.

I'm sure there are others though who have already eaten at them all. If it makes any difference though, after this trip I would have eaten at all MK TS restaurants.

Hmmm... interesting goal. Looking at the list I've eaten at 6 of those restaurants over the years. I may have to incorporate a few more in our next trip!!

We've eaten at
Alfredo's
Chefs de France
Biergarten
Rose & Crown
San Angel Inn
Akershus (sp? Also - this was a character breakfast - does that count?)

Next trip we're thinking of trying Le Cellier and Restaurant Marakkesh. I'll have to think of adding some more, but it's hard to not go back to old favorites!!

We have not eaten at France, China or Germany sitdown (that I can remember). Guess we should try to get to them one of these days.

I think we are only missing Japan. I have heard nothing but good about it. But I don't think they accept the DDE. So we pass. But I don't feel bad about missing it either. ;)

I wish Italy had a counter service meal.

The only one I haven't tried is China. I must confess that the bad reviews have kept me away. I grew up on LI, spent lots of time in NYC and have had really excellent Chinese food. Nothing I've read about Nine Dragons has me rushing off there. Maybe one day...

We've eaten at most (probably 80-90%) of the Epcot sitdowns - but we don't intend on every eating at all of them. If they aren't going to provide me a good experience (food and service) then its just not on my radar.

The only one we've missed is Alfredo's and like Merriwind's decision to steer clear of Nine Dragons (good choice btw: that place is really bad), we've stayed away from Alfredo's because the overwhelmingly negative reviews we've read, from folks who we identify with. I think we'll keep our record clean, leaving that "one more restaurants" to visit, in order to have "visited them all" -- at least until I've read that the place has been radically improved! :rotfl:

We're working on it! We've done a new one each trip, except last December...my mom was with us and I took her to the Candlelight Processional as a "girls night out" and she chose San Angel, which is somewhere DH and I have eaten twice before.

We've done Mexico, Japan, Canada, and England so far. I hope to try them all...even Nine Dragons!

We're working on this too! We'll be about halfway done after this next trip. We've done Mexico, Japan, Morocco, Germany, and will do Canada next week. But then, we haven't done the CS at all of them yet. I guess we'll do that after the TS.

We've done:

Germany, Norway (twice pre-princesses), Morocco and Canada.

I'm not so sure we'll do Mexico because of the reviews, though we love the atmosphere. Italy and France are future possibilities. :)

WE by passed Nine Dragons and Alfredo for years because of all the unflattering posts I read here. We finally tried them and they were both good. Not our favorites. But good and worth a chance. We have returned at least three times at each. It's always best to make your own judgments.

We've eaten in every sit down restaurant in Epcot including Coral Reef and Garden Grill except for 3 - Nine Dragons, the sushi/tempura restaurant in Japan(We have eaten in Teppanyaki sp?) and the restaurant in France that is downstairs(We've eaten in the one upstaors but I always confuse the two names) By country - we've eaten in every one except China :)

Done all of them several times. Akershus pre-caracter meal. Biergarten pre and post buffet. Bistro de Paris, Boulangerie Patisserie, Coral Reef, Electric Umbrella, Fountain View Espresso & Bakery, The Garden Grill Restaurant (and it predecessor The Land Grill), Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, L' Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante with its first chef. La Cantina De San Angel, both flavors of Le Cellier (current and the buffet that is was originally). Les Chefs de France, Liberty Inn, Lotus Blossom Cafe, Nine Dragons under its original management. Restaurant Marrakesh, Rose and Crown, San Angel Inn, Sommerfest, Sunshine Season Food Fair (and the original food court there as well as the food court at Wonders of Life), Tangierine Cafe, Tempura Kiku, Teppanyaki Dining Room and Yaktori House.

Also, Brown Derby, Mama Melrose, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Sci Fi, Tony's, King Stefan's, Liberty Tree Tavern, Crystal Palace (old menu and new chef), Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bill, Coke Corner, Casey's Corner, Cosmic Ray's, Diamond Horseshoe Jamboree (when it was lunch) and some others. :-)

hi, this is sandi's daughter, nicole. i just wanted to say that you must go to Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada and L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Restaurante in Italy. Those places are so good. If you really want some non american food, go to Boma in AKL. thats also a great place to go. :cool1:

This is one of my goals! So far, I've done Coral Reef, Mexico, Bistro de Paris, Le Cellier, and Marrakesh. I ate at Italy in middle school soon after Epcot opened so I don't really remember the food. We are eating in Norway the next trip, and I am not super enthusiastic about it. I know my DD will love it, but I think Epcot restaurants should be about experiencing a different culture, not princesses.

We've not eaten at Nine Dragons or Alfredo. Our meal at the Biergarten was so long ago that I'm not sure it counts. Here's my ratings best to worst of the others:

Marrakesh
Teppanyaki
Le Cellier
San Angel
Chefs de France
Akershus
Tempura Kiku
Rose and Crown

Only one we've never done is Teppanyaki--and that's only because I'm not a big fan of communal dining.
Should add that's it's been quite some time since we did Nine Dragons--

I'm not a fan of communal dining either but in WDW it has a bit different flavor. I think because everyone already has two things in common,
1) pretty much everyone is on vacation and really likes WDW,
2) pretty much everyone is from somewhere else.
