we have been trying and trying to get into chef mickeys for breakfast when we go in less than a week and it has been booked solid..everytime we call..and we call all the time to check to see if any cancellations...anyways..they told us just to show up and they would seat us...i am kinda unsure if this is a possibility or not...has anyone else just showed up to eat somewhere without a reservation and gotten seated??

That's so strange, I got a ps for chef mickeys fairly easily, I'm not sure about showing up....I thought you had to have a reservation for chef mickey, cinderella's castle and other popular one's. Can' help you, sorry.

Hello We have just shown up three times at Chef's and been seated just go when they open.

sorry, but we would never think of leaving it to chance in the summer months. Are you saying that you are giving the CM a time span of your entire trip and they still can't seat you?? wow--that's never happened to us either

They are bu-sy! DH checked in last Thursday night, asked about CM's and was told nothing-nada-nyet available for the entire weekend. He did not ask about walk-ups so I don't know if that would work or not.

yep...we said for the entire trip..and nothing is available...nada zilch...so 7 am it is then...we will be standing there waiting..
