I'm thinking about having our laundry done before we leave...I just dont want to do it when we get home!!!I know they do this on the ship...I even have prices...but has anyone else done this? BF and I hate to do laundry so I thought it would be a nice way to end the trip...grant it we'll do our own sox and underwear at home...but everything else...they can do on the ship...

Anyone will any experience with this?

What a luxury - to be able to come home and empty your suitcase into the dresser!! I would jump at it, if there weren't four of us (2 being teenage girls) - it would cost me a fortune!!

On deck 7 aft there is a laundry room that we have used. I will not pack something for everyday that I am gone so I plan to wash some. This cuts down on the amount of "stuff" we bring and we can take home mostly clean clothes. (not to mention the stuff we buy on the ship!)

I admit that it is easier for us because it is just two adults but it is a thought to keep in mind.

We did that on our cruise. Part of it was because we were spending another week vacationing before we came home and we needed those clothes. But some of the clothes that we didn't need were washed and placed in a bag that we wouldn't need to take out of the car. It was great when we got home.

We just did it on our cruise. It was GREAT! Well worth the money to me! Every time we walked past the laundry room it was hot and crowded, so I would ask people when they suggest for you to go if you plan to do your laundry that way.
I asked for extra laundry bags from our stateroom hostess, Belle. Gave the bags to her and the next day all of my clothes were back in the stateroom - cleaned - pressed - ready to wear. That was a great treat for me! But I do understand - to each their own.

when I get home-it might be late to night...but I'm at work and then have class tonite-but I'll post em...
Neither my BF or myself like to do laundry...So this would be an awsome treat for us...Just something else to make it magical for him...I love pampering him...he's done so much for me when I need him that pampering him is worth every cent!!!

After I got home, I have been known to dump all my clothes from my suitcase directly into my car and drive to the dry-cleaner/ laundry place. That way, the stuff is not wrinkled and looks great the very next day! And, I don't have to 'really' unpack.

I do my own underware, socks and stuff like that. But, I like splurging on this one luxury of taking everything to the cleaners when I get home.

we've always had some laundry done on the cruises we've been on - it is always extremely expensive (but we figure - saves time, gives us time to do other things) - and it's nice to go home with some clean clothes - or if someone wants to wear that dressy outfit again. again, we've not been on DCL, but other cruise lines, and never had a problem losing items, late items - given Disney's rep, I am sure the service would be good on DCL and we will no doubt try it!

Something I noticed on my Wonder cruise last week is that on the last day, they waived the rush surcharge and were offering same-day laundry service for the regular (next day) service price. Worth keeping in mind…
