Just wondering what to expect. This is our anniversary weekend and have spur of the momently booked the BLT. If anyone has been to the Nights of Joy in the past, what can we expect? Should we do both nights or is one better than the other? How are the crowds? Are the performances back to back or scattered throughout the park? Any info would be greatly appreciated since we wont know how to act as it is, (We have never been away from out 3 boys in 12 years!)!!! Thanks in advance.

Lots of people enjoy this night, I did not. The bands are scattered thru the park and for my taste TOO LOUD. I was expecting an E-ride night at the time (peaceful and light crowds) and for the first time was disappointed. Like I said, tho, LOTS of people like this! I find a walk on Poly's beach and watching Wishes from there romantic for a "just couple" trip. After the day's sensory input, I enjoy a bit more quiet at night.....JMHO.

Have a Magical Trip!

My sister and I have tickets for Friday night NoJ this year, our first night at WDW. We're both 40-something. After we bought the tickets, I read a few old threads here on the DIS about how crazy the park gets during NoJ because many youth groups take advantage of the concerts and cheaper tickets to travel down. That means the kids are there with chaperons, but not parents. The reports weren't good.

So we've decided that we're just gonna go anyway, try to see Chris Tomlin and maybe NewsBoys, then we'll split. We're going with no expectations. If we don't see any of the concerts...meh. We'll head back to the AKL and watch for animals from our balcony.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do!
