Do you get your 5 x 7 picture mailed to you at home? Has anyone gotten their pic. yet? How long did it take to receive and were they nice? Do you have to just your credit card at the character meet and greet in order to participate? I don't usually carry mine to the park with me but want to make sure I have everything I need to get my pic. Thanks!

I think you have to take your CC w/you to prove that you're a "member" or whatever they call it. The rest, I'm not sure. Waiting to hear from someone who has done this. We're going at the end of the August - so I'd like to know also.

Have a great vacation!!

I would like to know what characters are there. I'm not sure it's really that great of a deal since it's in Epcot and they have the character bus. Here's the info from the website:

Disney and Me:
Opening on July 8th, 2005, Cardmember-exclusive Character Meet ?N? Greet event with keepsake 5x7 photo. Initially offered every day at Epcot®, Innoventions West from 1:30pm to 4:30pm

This is just one of the great benefits available to you! For more information on other benefits, visit the Current Offers section of this website under the ?Walt Disney World® Resort? Category.

*Disney and Me valid 7/08/05 through 9/30/06. Present a valid Disney?s Visa® Credit Card from Chase for entry into Disney and Me. Separate theme park admission may be required. Offer elements, including participating locations, are subject to restrictions and change without notice.

Limited to 6 people per card. Operating times, days of the week, locations and appearance of Characters may vary. Subject to availability and location capacity. Offer includes one 5x7 keepsake photo per valid cardmember account.

ok, here is how it went....
1) you go to a private room in innoventions with your disney visa card in hand... There they give you a coupon for a free 5x7 and a photopass card.
2) Mickey is always in the room... the other characters change every 30 minute - no set schedule, no way to know who will be there when you go.
3) there was never a wait any time I went (I went 3 times during a 10 day trip.)
4) While your family is in the room, the only other people in that room are the CM's taking care of the characters and the CM's taking pictures... no other families!!!
5) The CM will snap 5-15 pictues, you get your autographs (if you want) and then you leave the room.
6) you can take your coupon immediatly to the camera shop under Spaceship Earth and look at your pics. You choose a picture and they print it out. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes.

Sounds great!! Looking forward to this for November! Hope it stays busy enough that they don't cancel it and that it stays unbusy enough that there isn't much wait! :) Thanks for posting.

There is no limit on how many times you can do this? Once a day, or just whenever? You only get the free 5X7 once, right? Wow, that is really cool. We are going to Epcot our first day it will give me a good feel for if the boys are gonna want to do autographs.
:cheer2: :maleficen
TIA
Melissa

That sounds much better than how I imagined it would be set up! We aren't going with the kids until March '06. I hope it doesn't get canceled before then.

Miste76 - Thanks for the info!!! Is there a limit on the number of people in the picture? I'd like to include my mom and brother with me and DH - didn't know if 4 plus a character would be too many...

So if Mickey is always in the room - can you pick him to have your picture made with or do they select the character for you since there are others there too?

Sounds great though!! I can't wait!

Thanks for all the info. I agree, it sounds better than I imagined. Miste76 - since you went 3 times during your stay, were you eligible for a free 5 x 7 each day or is it only 1 per year or some other set period of time? So, we'll always see Mickey plus 1 other character? Will the CM's also take pics for you with your own camera?

Also curious about how many 5X7's, per day and with more than one person with a Disney Visa account.

I received a free coupon each time I went (Yes, I got 3 free 5X7 pictures and I picked them up all at one time.)
There is no limit on how many times that you do this... I was told that I could come back as many times as I wanted to (I only did it 3 times because I just wasn't in EPCOT at the right times)

You are allowed to bring 6 people in per card (at a time) and they can all get in the picture.

There is a number of pictures taken while you are in the room, if you're getting autographs... they even take pictures of that (kind of nice to have some shots that aren't so posed...)

They will take pictures with your entire party and the characters. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN ABLE TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH MICKEY AND MINNIE TOGETHER. I have asked at other locations and have always been told that it was against the rules... I have a pic of Mickey, Minnie, myself and my sister now.

You pick which picture(s) that you want for free and you can purchase others there at the same time. It's about a 60 second walk to the area where you need to pick up the pictures... (under Spaceship Earth).
Did I leave anything out?

You can get the picture that day? I'm going for a quick trip right around the time that this ends--I plan to be at Epcot on Sept. 29, the second day of 2 days on a leftover ticket. I'll go anyway. Will the CM use your camera to take a picture?

Wow, I wish we would have gone. We were at EPCOT 3 times during our two weeks trip and we never seemed to be in FW in Innoventions at the right time. It just didn't work out to go. I wish the hours were in the morning.

You can walk over and pick out the picture that you want as soon as the pictures are taken. It's just like a picture on a ride, they print it out right away and you take it with you.
As far as taking pictures with your camera... i would assume that they would... however, we did not even request this... there are cm's in the room that are there to take care of the characters (just like any other character greeting... and usually they are more than happy to snap a few shots for you!!!

Also wanted to note... Missy1961... you said that you will be there 9/29 - this offer is good through next year (2006). I think it's 9/2006 when it expires... but not for sure about that month. The expiration has been posted somewhere on this board, but I was too lazy to look for it before I posted this.

we did the meet and greet, and yes, they will take pics with your camera. Just FYI, we thought that the lighting in that room was kind of weird and the pics that we took didn't turn out quite as good as we had hoped. We have a pic of all 4 of us with M&M and one of just the 2 kids with M&M. The CM at the photo place said "wow, you got a pic with the boss and his girlfriend". :rotfl2:

How do we find out what times the meet & greet is open? Thanks!
