Has anyone done the Cape May Charater Breakfast? If so, how was it?

Great place! I took my bridal party there the morning of my wedding. The ring bearer(age 3) was so amazed by the characters coming up to our table. We saw Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale. The food was great, but it was a standard Disney Breakfast buffet. I found the characters more interactive than those at the Crystal Palace. But those are the only character meals I have done.

What is the best way to get there though? Resort bus from Epcot? We are using the Disney buses and coming from ASMo. Thanks!

I would do one of two things...

1) Take a cab because it is super cheap and easy

2) Take a bus to DHS and talk the walk or boat to the Beach Club

We ate at Cape May Cafe last year & it was very good. The atmosphere was more relaxed than some other character meals can be. The food was good - standard breakfast buffet items. The character interaction was excellent - we saw all of the characters (Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale) at least twice and they spent alot of time with us. Cape May is good, however, Chef Mickey's & Crystal Palace are our favorites for breakfast.

Transportation was an issue for us. We had a 7:50 am ADR for Cape May. We were told to go to DHS & take the boat, but when we arrived at DHS, we found the boat service didn't begin until later in the morning and therefore we would need to take a bus. Then we couldn't find a bus for Beach Club, but fortunately another bus (which was going to resorts near the Beach Club) took us to the Beach Club. Luckily, we arrived at the Beach Club on time for our ADR, but it was a little stressful for my DW and I because we are both OCD about planning, being on time, etc.
