I gave this tour to my family this past holiday time when we went down. It was great for die hard Disney geeks. No photos are allowed, its truly not suitable for kids and there is a fair amount of walking/climbing on and off the bus. Nice bus with lots of cold water
We started out at Epcot, went into the park talked about themeing then went right back out into a backstage area and boarded a bus for the American Adventure. Here we got to look at some of the equipment that ran the attraction and talked more about on and off stage areas, details etc.
Back on the bus I want to say we went to one of the big constume holding areas next where CMs check out their costumes etc. Then off to MGM for more on how they make costumes then lunch at Mamma Melrose. Its a set meal with everyone together
Back on the bus
Off to the florist, Holiday shops and central shops to talk about how they make things, store things, repair things etc. This was the very very cool part. We also hit part of the greenhouses but thats not normal but they had to change the schedule due to the holiday prades
Then off to MK to see a short part of the Utilidors then quick pop on stage to see themeing and details there then back on the bus to Epcot where we ended the tour
I may have left out some details but thats the overview of what we did. It truly was 7 hours and we were not ready for it to end. Our guide was wonderful and answered or tried to answer a lot of very detailed deep questions on things like water purification, cell towers, security (they avoided this one as best they could) etc.
If you like to geek about Disney its great, if you hope to get park time or ride time its not the tour for you.
Overall we were THRILLED and tought it was well worth the $800 we spent
