Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

I got the Stitch accessory from a store on Mainstreet. I LOVE IT!

I'm super jealous!! Since we are travelling from Canada, we were told that we would just be picking ours up when we check in at our resort. There are some pretty amazing bands here!!

I didn't think that my magic band decorating was clever enough to post, but I got so many comments while I was there I decided to share it!

I bought a load of scrapbooking "flatbacks" from ebay (these come in all kinds of designs), and just super-glued them all down!

This is what it looked like to start:

I tested it on the room door before sticking it down. With the big minnie over the mickey head it worked fine for doors/park admission and FP+, but I had some problems with using it to charge.

Made a slight ammendment so I could see the Mickey, so this is what the finished product looked like:

It was sometimes a bit awkward, but overall I didn't have any problems using it, and the adorable-ness outweighed this in my eyes.

We are going to Disney for Christmas. I have been racking my brain trying to get ideas for Christmas themed bands. Any ideas out there? There are 3 of us... DH, DS13 and I. Any help would be appreciated!

If feel bad for all you across the border folks. Do you not know anyone in the US? I kind of want to set up a service to receive people's bands and then send them to Canada and over the pond so you all can have fun decorating as well! Just a thought....

I just counted and i have more images to chose from than i care to say out loud Next step is to narrow it down a bit and print the transfers off and then make a run to a fabric store to stock up on "fat-squares" Kinda giddy with the power of being able to toss "mood-based" covers at hubby as his attitude dictates ....

We just got back and I wanted to share that we were SO happy we decorated our bands. We got so much attention from CMs and other guests. Several CMs asked us where we *bought* those special bands! Many were surprised to hear that we had used nail polish because they hadn't seen it before and a few said they were going to try it too! Someone on our resort bus told us that they recognized us from the day before because of our bands. It was so much fun and added some extra pixie dust to the trip. Our bands weren't even anything special compared to a lot of the insane talent on these boards. So if you're on the fence about it - DO IT!

We are going at Halloween time, so our bands are going to have a Halloween theme...Boo to You, villains and Haunted Mansion-esque. Maybe Christmas Mickey , snowflakes, hot cocoa...Polar Express bell...? Just some ideas. Have fun and good luck!

Thanks. I originally started out with it being blue and couldn't see the design so I painted it all white.

Thinking about doing a Lilly Pulitzer band but I'm afraid the nail polish will chip off... Does it?

I had mine chipped yesterday when a nutter with a bag hit my arm, but it only took the top coat and a tiny bit of colour off, very easy to touch up and fix. I've now started doing a new base coat every morning and evening
