Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

....#8..last one. We finished my DHs magic band last night. The kids surprised him. He said he likes Space Mountain and Soarin - so we did both of them and added a monorail. He is such a great guy and we wanted his to be really special. It took us 2 days to finish it and mostly our youngest DD did it but it was a joint effort. We used only nail polish on this one as well as the others.

Now I get my dining room table back....here it is:

I just got my decals in this morning and put them on and thought I would share! I just did the one, but you can see the other decals in the background they are really cute!

and then here are 2 of the bands painted! (I did not paint them, an artist on Etsy did)

Can't wait! 46 days to go!

Ummm.... wow. The decals are great, but your art work is amazing! The Rapunzel one is perfect! Makes me want to re-do mine! Haha

My first set of bands should ship on Monday and all of a sudden I'm not so sure what I want to do!

I'm only going to decorate one band: my gray one. I had initially planned to paint the Mickey head purple and possibly dot the band like the Minnie MBs that a couple of people have posted. Now I'm not so sure! I may just paint (nail polish) the whole thing purple!

Do you mean the ones you get from Disney?
If so then yes, but they may be a bit loose. The picture below shows the ones we were given to us last Nov. I did see kids wearing them on their bands but didn't observe up close how loose they were. I just went and looked at ours and they are pretty tight and not pushed up to the fullest part of the band, so without the grey outer part it should fit fine.

I just received an email stating our MBs have shipped! I'm so excited, but I don't know how I want to decorate them. I'm torn between simply using cute duct tape or trying my hand at decorating with stickers & nail polish. Any recommendations?

While I'm waiting for my MBs to get shipped (in 6 weeks or so).. I drew several outlines of my old one on paper... I then rough pencil in where I think stickers, decals, bling, duct tape, etc could go and see what works well...Tried my hand at painting characters like some of the fantastic ones seen on this thread (hats off to you people!!) That's probably not gonna work.. so stickers it is. I've been collecting stickers from everywhere now. Once I've narrowed down what I really like, I'll be able to decorate my MB and not look back! I think I may just do the "Men of Disney".... Flynn, Mr. Incredible, Mickey.. I'm kind of a "Disney Prince" type girl at heart..

After reading through this thread the last months I couldn't wait to paint my magic bands! So here they are. Mine is the Figment one, my Mom's is the green and purple zigzags and my Memaw's is the red with white polka dots. I had so much fun doing them. I used acrylic paint and some scribbles 3d paint. I sealed them with top coat from OPI. I was worried about sharpie streaking on the figment one so I sealed that with mod podge first and then went over it with the nail polish. They feel great and aren't sticky or anything! I can't wait to wear them to the park. Less than 3 weeks away now!

You are all so talented. I can do many things, but this is out of my league. I have one MB, from when they first came out in Pluto yellow.well it was yellow..you should see how filthy it is nothing seems to get it clean after so much time.

Very cute! Can I ask what you used to do the polka dots on the red one? That's what I want to do with mine when I get it!

I have been following this thread since early this year, and have absolutely LOVED everything everyone has done. So many amazing, creative, talented people.

I have magic bands coming out my ears (passholder, split stays, one trip in February, bands from last October, and another trip starting tomorrow!!! )

I found this thread back in February, about 5 days before we left. So I quickly tried to decorate our bands. Given the limited time, I stayed pretty simple.

Those (except for the green band, which wasn't decorated until recently), are how they looked after constant wear for a week in the park.

When I got home, I decided to do some serious thinking about our next bands. Here are the results. I have multiple bands for each person, since we had extra from being passholders, as well as the bands from our trip last October.

The Anna and Elsa and Mulan are tattoos I printed on blank tattoo paper (Amazon.com), and they are actually the Anna and Elsa Disney infinity figures. I then embellished around them:

Mushu and Cricket are free drawn with nailpolish and nailpolish pens (using a very tiny paintbrush).
