Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

Are you clicking on the image box (the little yellow box with a mountain) and putting the URL in that? When you copy the image file from Photobucket you don't have to use that, you can just paste it directly into the post. Does that help?

well I tried all 4 link types they have on photobucket. I tried posting direct into the text of the post and using the yellow postcard..

I even emailed myself a link and it worked

Got it.

The link was using my PB Username which had part of my last name in it.
So when I posted the link on Dis the security feature automatically changered 4 letters to *

I had to create a new PB account because you cant edit usernames.

Just attempted a Lion King band. Using acrylic paint was a lot easier! I'm going to put a top coat on it though once it dries.

I'll be curious whether or not those still work with the Mickey heads on the bands covered.
We've been to WDW twice now with Magicbsnds and sometimes even with nothing coveting the Mickey head, it took a couple tries to get it to register.

They do. We did it in December!!

Did he just slide it into an existing bracelet? This would be an excellent idea for my DS3 so he couldn't take it off and lose it!

I went to party city looking for tattoos. They had a bunch of different ones. Micky, Minnie, princess, Cinderella, faries, doc mustuffuns. They were only $1 a sheet but I am not sure if they are too big. I won't have my bands for a while. I bought Minnie, faries, and princesses.

He wover it around the band
Even though he took off the extender it still is very large because of the clips. He is a big 15yo.

Our Duct Taped bands worked great! I went into the pool, sweated plenty, no problems. RFID worked great.

Got so many compliments from CM. My favorite was when they thought it was a new disney product. So many CM would then tell me about other ones they have seen, with nail polish and temp. tattoos, ect. I am sure they were talking you guys!!!

I'm so jealous! I wanna be on the monorail! BTW, your pics were great, not upside down and very clear. Did you buy the band covers from Disney? I thought they only had cloth sleeves.

Sorry for the delayed response. I found them on the DVC Central site. I did see a post on here talking about how it is illegal and the one I saw on Etsy (did not purchase from them) looks like they do not sell them anymore.

I suppose the DVC Central site is alright b/c they are still selling them. Maybe it's b/c they do not have the actual characters on them, just the designs or a silhouette?

For my first attempt at customizing a Magic Band I just went with something simple and cheap, because I had the nail polish on hand. I had two yellow ones so I thought what the heck! All I added was a little pixie dust to mine!

Has anyone tried clear spray polyurethane on their bands instead of nail polish? Just wondering ....

base coat, two coats of holo polish, one coat of pink glitter polish, one coat of topcoat.
swam everyday with the band on looks the same now a week later got lots of compliments too.

Hi! I actually put on the tattoos both ways closed n open. I haven't had any problems with any of the 4 sets I have done and already taken on our trips. Yes I first use base coat n then add the tattoos to the bands when I feel them pretty dry.
