Has anyone considered DL due to all the changes with FP+

We did DL last Thanksgiving and found crowds totally manageable. Loved the parks and the change of pace. We plan to do it again with my parents, WDW has just gotten too big for them to comfortably walk around. I think DL might be perfect for them.

As my family is mulling another Disney vacation I am campaigning hard for DLR. We were there in 2011 and loved it. Plus, I am appalled by the thought of having to learn the tricks for FP+ and being restricted to 3 FPs per day.

However DW is averse to the cross country plane trip so she wants to go to WDW. Honestly, how can I argue against going to Disney World... that is probably where we will wind up.

We went to DL last summer in addition to WDW. While I love DL it was more of a CA vacation not Disney. There is not enough for a full week. Only two parks, no water parks, no boats , small downtown Disney and jus overall smaller.

For a just Disney trip I will still go to WDW. When I can I go to DL but not because of changes at WDW.
