Has anyone bought the InStyler? - Updated

Unfortunately, my flat iron just died. My daughter has been using it everyday for a month, and it has decided not to heat up anymore.

I was just reading reviews on the Paul Mitchell flat iron and one woman said hers died. She brought it to her stylist (who is good at fixing things) and it turned out the fuse in the flat iron needed to be replaced. She said the fuse is located under the ceramic plates and cost about 40 cents.

Just an update.......I got my 2 InStylers in the mail today. Will give it a try in the next day or so when I have time. I'll post before and after pics too.

Well....its official! I LOVE this product. I gave it a quick try this morning and had my front and sides straightened and "flipped under" within 5 minutes!!! It works GREAT!! Very easy to use.

I was a little nervous about it after the reviews, but for me....it was exactly what I was looking for.

There are a few cons to it though.....will post more about the pros and cons when I get in from work.

Im gonna be (in)Stylin for 'Ohanas....lol

For those who want to try this without having to by 2 or paying shipping etc. I was able to find this product at BJs. Guess they just got it in since they didn't have it the middle of October when I got my DD a CHI. That was before she got her hair cut and styled. She has slightly wavy hair (when airdried) and they blew out hair and ironed it and it was soft, smooth gorgeous. Would love to find out what product they used to get it so soft and shiny.

I hate to say it, but its just the same as any other you'll buy. The price is a rip off. It all depends on your hair type and how well it responds to heat and hair products, which is the same with any product!

ulta.com has this for 20% off, priced at about $72, so that's cheaper than qvc and the infomercial that you have to buy 2 to get the price.
