Unfortunately, my flat iron just died. My daughter has been using it everyday for a month, and it has decided not to heat up anymore.
I was just reading reviews on the Paul Mitchell flat iron and one woman said hers died. She brought it to her stylist (who is good at fixing things) and it turned out the fuse in the flat iron needed to be replaced. She said the fuse is located under the ceramic plates and cost about 40 cents.
Look here http://www.folica.com/Paul_Mitchell_F_d2275.html and scroll down to the reviews. Hers is entitled "If your Paul Mitchell Flat Iron does not work"
