Has Anyone Booked Free Dining Using 800#

I made my ressies using the 800 number.

I was shocked that they picked up the 407# first. The 800# was still on hold while I was making my reservation. I'm not advising you to hang up & call back, but if you have a cel, or second line, it might be worth it to try the 407# also.

I also modified my ressies with the 800 #!! I had no wait at 7am!

I got through on the 800 #, it was 6:00 CDT and I waited about 25 min. Hang in there! I didn't try the 407 #, I was afraid I'd lose my cell phone connection.

I just finished booking on the 800# -- it took an hour and 36 minutes from the time I called, to the time I hung up.

FINALLY GOT THROUGH!!!! I was hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was the CM's first call! Anyway, got Port Orleans Riverside September 20-28 with 8-day Fun & More ticket! Woo-Hoo!!!!

I called the 800 # at 7:05am EST and was on hold for 1 hour and 35 minutes. A very nice CM then helped me get free dining. He said i was his second call.

Man! I have to go to the doctor at 830 on Thursday! That stinks that I might have to hold that long. If it becomes available.

I got through on the 800# and was only on hold for 35 mins. I lucked out somehow, but there needs to be something put into place so that it really is, 1st come 1st served. Just my .02

I called the 800 number waited for 1 hour 45 minutes -- but that was with the grand gatherings option so maybe things different...

I called at 8 and was on hold about 1 hour and 20 minutes..You can't entirely blame Disney though, a lot of people were calling to get the deal even though they did not have a Disney Visa or if they wanted different dates. The volume must have been crazy. I even did the survey after...

I will be on first thing Thursday morning to get free dining. I already have ressies for Sep 22-29 as free dining was a nice to have for us but not a make or break. Can anyone tell me what time the reservation line will open Thursday morning?
