Hi everyone. I am brand new to this! I was given a price for a trip through Dreams Unlimited which sounds great to me. Before I book, I was just wondering if anyone else has gone through them and could give some feedback - positive or negative. Thank you so much in advance!

This is my 2nd time using Dreams Unlimited and I love them. In fact, I liked my agent so much the last time, I requested her again for our 10 night trip coming up in 32 days!! One thing I really love is that my agent did all of my ADR's for me. I told her which restaurants we wanted to go to and she took it from there. You will fill out a questionnaire that allows your agent to customize a plan for you based on your preferences ( commando touring, more laid-back, etc) He/she will also help you decide on the best days to visit each park. I highly recommend Dreams Unlimited!

I highly recommend them. I am going to move you to the Resorts board, I hope you get more positive feedback.

We used in Sept of last year and are using them again for Dec. Shirley is my TA and I didn't even use the website the 2nd time around, I emailed her directly and got a quote the same day....

I'm booked with them right now. I think I like it, but I'm not sure. But my feelings have nothing to do with Dreams Unlimited. It's more that I'm not accustomed to handing over the whole trip to someone else, and I'm just too hands on to do that. So to me, I'm starting to feel like going thru DU is a bit more of an impediment than a help, but I just think that's because I'm a bit of a control freak. ;-)

For example, I booked my trip, sat down and planned out our touring plan, then picked up the phone and made our ADRs. I got everything I wanted. Maybe if I hadn't scored a table at CRT right away, I might have sent my DU agent an email asking her to keep trying and that would have been convienient. The other thing I've used my agent for was to change the package for us to include airfare, but I could have just as easily picked up the phone and done it myself. I think the delay in using email to communicate just is too much for me. I'm a "Let's do it now" sort of person.

I think for someone who is less hands on, or less familiar with WDW that using DU would be a fantastic idea. I'm not at all unhappy with the service, except for the fact that I'm really not letting them do anything!

Overall, from what I've experienced so far, I'd say they were good people, and I think when the trip is done I'll have good things to say about them and I'll probably recommend them to others.

Always ;-)

I am using them. I am also a control freak when it comes to travel but i have enjoyed RHONDA working with me. She even OFFERED me CRT, I have never even tried because it is so hard to get. As for the communication, she emails be back almost immediately. I will work with her again, I know I will.

We used them for the first time about 8 years ago and haven't used anyone else since. They're very helpful and the way they take care of your room, dining, etc reservations is priceless!

For those of you who have used DU, I'm wondering how flexible they are to work with. I have two situations I'm wondering about. First, I'd like them to make my dining ressies for me, but I'm going in January 2008 and it looks like the 180 ADR mark will be coming before the MYW package rates. So can I ask them to make the ADRs even though they won't be able to book the package yet? Also, can I say to them "I want POFQ, but if by some miracle a 40% discount comes out, please automatically change me to the Poly" ? I have handled every detail in the past, so I want to make sure they're going to do as much as I would and as quickly.

I'm using DU and I'm a little mixed. She was able to book us into Pop which was our first choice, while when I called AAA, they could only get us into one of the All Stars for the same price. I'm a control freak so I did most of our ADRs, however, I asked her to try to get and early ADR somewhere for me before MNSSHP, and she scheduled a very late dinner ADR instead. (which I will cancel since we'd miss the party)

Other than that, the email communication has been great, and they did save us money rather than booking directly with Disney.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll take that advice and make the ADRs myself. We always get the dining plan package, but if the places we love are booked by the time the packages are released there really isn't any point in getting the package.

I used them for my upcoming trip. Tracy is phenomenal. I get regular emails from her. She scheduled all my ADR's (and even reminded me when I missed a meal). She makes suggestions, answers questions, and gives me her opinions if I ask her. I'm a control freak, too, when it comes to scheduling, and she worked with me. The itinerary they provide is only a guide - a working plan. We changed it around to meet my family's needs. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant in the beginning because I wasn't sure about their reputation, reliability, etc. However, I am thrilled that I chose them.

Began working with them on our June trip 6 months ago. I can't speak highly enough about them. Dan has been wonderful....put up with me changing my mind a million times about ADR and our itinerery.

I will definitely book through them from now on!

I love them! And one more great thing about them is that they keep checking to see if any of any new codes/deals that come out would apply to your reservation made with them :goodvibes :

From their website:
Q - How does the "Discount Checking" service work?
A - On some occassions, Disney will lower their rates. This decision is usually based on time of year, resort, occupancy rates, etc.
At Dreams Unlimited we are constantly monitoring for discounts . When specials are announced, our system automatically flags any current reservation that may be eligible for the lowered price. Our agents then check to see if the reservation can be converted to the sale promotion. While we cannot guarantee that we will be able to lower your rate, we will work diligently to make it happen.

That means $$$ peace of mind to me!

I love them! We go to Disney 1-2 times a year on average. We are always assigned Merrie, who is wonderful, and able to offer suggestions even though we are "veterans". We went once with another company, and never again! I can only say great things about Dreams Unlimited!:cheer2:

We too go to Disney anywhere from 2-3 times a year. We started using DU about 3 years ago. We also were assigned Merrie. She is the best. She always is looking for the best price. She knows how much we love the BWI. If we cannot get a room when we book, she always puts us in a suite at OKW. When I email her with my ADR's, she almost always is able to get what we want.:yay:

I'm on my second trip with them after using a different agent and am very happy. My agent, Jennifer, is really quick to reply, knows what we like (even though this is only our second trip with her!) she's given me a heads up or two on events happening during our trip and she knows we might be interested in. And it's really great not having to worry about when codes come out. She takes care of all of that for me.
