Has anyone been to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort?

Just some thoughts......My DBIL lost his finacee a few weeks ago, and the DH, DS and DD were thinking of going to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort next May (Memorial Weekend) with him. That is the weekend he was to be married and we thought taking him away with the kids would be good for him and keep his mind occupied. Any thoughts or any other suggestions would be appreciated!!!

I know there are a lot of posts about Hilton Head on the DVC resort. I have been wanting to go there also and everything I have seen on the boards makes it seem like a wonderful place. I think that would be a great idea to take him and very thoughtful of your family.

Thanks for your reply....I wil check out the DVC resorts. We are a very close knit family..and that is what family does, stick together. We would never let him go through this alone. Thanks again!

I've been to Disney's Hilton Head resort twice, and it's a really neat place. The DVC villas are huge! Here's a link to some pictures I have taken:
