That's what just happened to me! I couldn't believe this kid actually had the nerve to tell me I had to remove the pirate magic pin I was wearing to trade to him! (Oh, btw, don't you need a code for magic pins?) Sheesh!

you should have said, "i order you to bow down to me." hahahahah!! i heard someone demanding that another person give them their tiara. the nerve of people!

No other 'regular' player has the right to tell you to do anything! I would have just vanished from the room! (Click the globe below, then click any random place).

You're right, a code is required for the pirate magic pin.

I've seen some of this shamefull activity as well as some pitifull begging. Very scary if these kids have been brought up to think this is ok. By the way you know about the ignore button right? I have't used it yet but here it is effective.

The problem is that young kids will not know better and will actually hand things over.

If I were there, I would have told (not asked) the person to stop that immediately, or be reported for harrassment (of course, you can't say harrassment).

I agree! That's why I've told my DS (8) to absolutely, under no circumstances trade away his magic pins and/or space suit. I would just hate to see him (or anyone else) get taken advantage of :sad1:

You think that is a problem I was asked last night to trade my tira with another dis member. Oh no not my tira. My first response should have been no. Since you can not buy them and it is my most proud possession. But I felt the invisible peer pressure. Not that this member had anything to do about it. She was very nice. But I as and adult thought of all the things that could go wrong if I said no. I am a kind person so if I said no then I would be mean. Maybe because I am just getting to know the dismembers in the game I would be outcasted for not giving up my tira and no body would talk to me anymore cause I was selfish. I know stupid but I have so much fun meeting you all. So because I am an adult I was able to find a solution. I lent it to her for two days so she could have a little magic to. I feel sorry for the kids that are stuck in the same situation and do not know what to do.
So Anyways I went to bed last night wondering if I would ever see my tira again. What if the person quit the game and never came back how would I get another one. This is so sad. It is the first thing I bought when it went on sale. As I was going on to work I thought of my tira. Is this pathetic or what. My identity on VMK has to have a tira so I will be walking around lost for the next 2 days waiting anxiously for its return. So that is my scarifice for Disney Magic and I am sure the person really appreciates it as I would be so tickled pink to have something lent to me that I so desparately wanted.

Going through tira withdrawl please be sensitive

I have told DD (7) the same thing. I also watch her while she is on, just to make sure she is not with anyone who is using bad language or being mean.

Miss Belle!!NOT THE TIARA!! :faint:

Thank you so much. It is pretty sad that I sit here in Tira withdrawl. I would be willing to trade something else for it. Thanks for the offer. I will let you know by Friday one way or the other. :) Now I can have some peace.
Thank you Thank you Thank You Thank you Thank you X1000

I dont post here but read all the time. (Guess Im intimidated lol) Anyway yesterday someone kept telling me to move (I was not in anyones way) I told him you must have forgot your manners at the door. After about 5 or 6 moves he left. I wasnt about to move because of the rudeness.

BTW Im "Accountant " at VMK. I wasnt very creative in my name. I wanted Minniemouse but they rjected it so I did accountant because I couldnt think of anything else. At least with that name no one asks me to be a Boyfriend, LOL Ill keep my boyfriend I married 26 years ago anyway!!

Sorry you experienced the rudeness, but...

I've seen you before! When I saw your screen name, I promptly added it to my list of interesting and/or unusual screen names list, lol.

Just funny to see you post here. Hope you don't mind having been listed.

When I was in a guest's room, she let us sit down and chatted for a short while. Then she closed off the room. I forget what you call those things. It's got a velvet rope that hangs between two brass posts to queue people. Anyhow, she put one of those over the exit and said that none of us could leave unless we gave her something. I made sure that everyone knew that they could leave by clicking the globe.

It's up to all of us to take control of those bad situations. Lillisalou, you did the right thing. Yesterday I was in the Castle Court Yard, Everyone was ask to join the line dance, nice to start. Soon one person demanded you to dance or demanded you to leave. I spoke up and reminded that person it was everyones area to enjoy. They came back with they were only joking lol. Keep up the good work.

The most common thing I've seen is some player telling another player to "get off my bench." I've piped in regularly and said "it's not your bench or anyone else's." What's irritating is that these jokers could either a) sit down next to the other person or b) go sit on another empty bench.

Fortunately, most players also seem to be quick to clamp down on rude displays of behavior.

I would have loved to be in the room where the owner said "you can't leave until you give me something." I probably would have replied that I wasn't leaving until she gave something to everyone in the room. Hopefully that wouldn't be misinterpreted as requesting prohibited activity. :rotfl:
