Has anyone been in Feb time - whats it like?

Hi Everyone, Booked to go to DLRP in feb to stay at the Sequioa lodge but i think feb is one of the only times of the year i havent been - winter/spring time done pretty much all other seasons. And will a little one in tow i really have no idea what to excpect and what to prepare for, mainly seeing as weather here was so bad in feb ahhh Drama.
Any info from others would be brilliant?

Not February but the last week of January! I was really surprised how I coped with the weather I am always cold! Most days I wore Jeans, tshirt, hoodie hat scarf the first day I wore a coat but I was so hot on the rides I was fed up of taking it on off all the time so the rest of the holiday I didnt bother!

Hi i went for valentines day about 8 years ago and it was freezing -5 and the lake was completely frozen!!!

but it was dry so as long as we wrapped up very warm we were ok, my advice would be ski suits for little ones or thermals.

We went for half term a few yrs ago and it was quite warm- I dont think I wore a coat in the parks just a few lighter layers
The previous year we went to central Paris for a few days over Feb half term and it was really warm - we were walking round in short sleeved tops and sitting by the river eating ice cream

Have been twice at Feb half term and it was really cold but mainly dry both times. Thermals and lots of layers and you should be covered for all eventualities.

Yes, did Feb half term for my first trip and it was cold, and dry. Same as the other posts, wrap up and it will be fine, but it can get a bit sultry when you step into the shops and restaurants, so layers are the key.

Hi there, we went on our first trip there in Feb last year - we were all absolutely freezing!! It was magical tho seeing the castle with little flurries of snow in the background! It was also busy - 45min wait for Crush's coaster, I think it was french school hols. Looking to go back this October not sure how it will be then.
