Has anyone been able to get resonable dinner tines for BOG?

I'm just curious how far out from your arrival date did anyone get a reasonable dinner reservation (7:30 and earlier) using a 180 +10 advantage. It seems likes there's limited availability already on the 180 mark from today's date. Just trying to strategize and formulate a plan for the best chance. Has anyone gotten a reservation for 8 people at BOG?

You can actually go to Be Our Guest for Lunch and you don't need to make Dining Reservations. I don't see what the big deal is with BOG though... The interior just looks like a school cafeteria.

I made one at 180 days for 8 at 8:45. I then made two more at 180+4 and 180+6 for parties of 6. Both of those reservations were at 6:30. When I talked to my party, I cancelled two of them, keeping the 180+6. I was on the Disney website at 6:00 am EST.

Our 180 is today, so I woke up for the 5 a.m. CST reservation time and BOG was already booked up for the day we wanted. We were able to get it on another day, but I'll still be checking to see if something opens up.

For July I was able to get 4:00 times about 2 weeks after my 180 (prior to that at the 180 mark I had table for 4 and table for 2 at 530). we didn't have our resort booked yet so I did all of mine right at the 180 mark to start with and had no problems.

Does calling at 7am provide any advantage? i.e. do the agents/CMs see spots that we wouldn't see online? Or, is there a magic date where they open up more reservations (say, 60 days in advance)?

Thanks all! Sounds like it won't be so bad. :cheer2:

We had a BOG dinner reservation early last May around 6-6:30. Got lucky two months before we arrived and found one online. It was great. As someone mentioned earlier I don't get the hype either...perhaps just because its new and hard to get into. But I don't think it looked like a cafeteria at all! The dinner for Disney, was pretty good. It was nice to have a glass of wine with dinner. One thing, I would not get a late reservation there; the waiting builds up. And if I remember correctly, its not really a dining reservation its more like a call-ahead seating. We were however seated within 10-15 of our time. We are hoping to get a 4:30-5 pm to end the day at the park then go home.

I would like to try lunch this year, but last year you had to line up early or wait on a huge line; something thats not good to do with toddlers. We are traveling with friends this year that would like to go, but I need a reservation for 8 this time.

We usually try to get a table in the back near the "snow windows"---

I wish our school cafeteria looked like that !! It might have made eating that awful food a bit more enjoyable !! :)
