I just used it again today to book a minivan for 10 days in July, picking up at MCO, dropping off in Sarasota. $472 including all taxes and fees. That is about $200 better than I could do anyplace else, including carrentalsavers. Love that code!

Can anyone confirm this?? We leave in two weeks and don't want any surprises when we get to the counter! Hmm..maybe we could just avoid the counter??

If you look at page 1 of this thread, posts #2 and #8 are from posters who stated that they called Budget directly to confirm this code could be used.

Do you know if Budget honored the price with the Travelocity code your friends' parents had for their rental vehicle?

I guess I want an update now as well as we leave in a little over three weeks.

The guy she spoke to flat out asked her if she worked for Travelocity and wanted proof. I booked the reservation for my mother 2 weeks ago after finding the code on here. So she called me up very upset because they told her that if she didn't have the proof, the car rental would be $1000.00! Luckily, she had held on to her reservation with Enterprise and rented from them instead. I am just warning people about what happened to her because you do not want to be SOL when you go to rent your car and you can't get the rate.

I am officially freaking out right now. I could get us another good rate through Dollar; however, we have friends going Easter week who booked using this rate. The prices for their week are over $1000 and I can't find any other codes.

I can get Emerald Aisle/midsize from National for an extra $127. But this week is so busy I'm afraid the 5 of us will be stuck in something too small. Chancing Budget.

I keep saying IF you qualify for Costco try that code and coupons on website (and I have been asked for Costco card by Alamo) that provides a better discount in some cases. In my case the COSTCO code is $40+ cheaper than this code. I know it is a legit code that I qualify for.

Just general common sense on car rentals:

Keep checking as rates can go down .... especially closer to rental. You can book and cancel without a fee.

ONLY USE CODES YOU QUALIFY FOR OR BE PREPARED TO PAY A DIFFERENT RATE IF YOU CAN'T PRODUCE ID SHOWING YOU ARE ENTITLED TO. PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ASKED FOR ID WHEN PICKING UP AND EVEN RETURNING CARS. THE 'I'M GOING TO DISPUTE IT WITH MY CREDIT CARD' IF CHARGED MORE WON'T WORK BECAUSE RATE IS BASED ON INFO YOU GIVE RENTAL CAR COMPANY. IF YOU PROVIDE FALSE INFORMATION (SAYING YOU QUALIFY FOR A CERTAIN CODE) THEY DON'T HAVE TO HONOR THE RATE.

Yes, no problems at all. Walked out to the fast break kiosk in the garage and was in the car in 5 minutes. Rate matched what I booked in October using this code.

Was this your first time using Budget? I thought I read somewhere that you have to go to the counter in the terminal if it's your first time, even if you have a fast break account.

When I put in this code just to compare the base rate was..

$190 for Costco (full size 9 days in Phoenix)
$239 for X474200 (full size 9 days in Phoenix)

These don't include taxes but it is a $50 savings off base rate between the 2 codes in my case. If you qualify for Costco discount you might want to try that code. As I stated this up to 30% code appeared yesterday and brought my rate down which was still lower using the other Costco code/coupon than with this code.

I am a Costco member and just tried all the new codes listed. They are either not applicable to minivans or my week is blacked out because my quotes are over $200 more than I have with the travelocity code.

FYI anyone....I just booked our minivan from MCO to PC, and back and got
$68 one way and $60 coming back! I'm very pleased! Used Fastbreak and a code from Mousesavers. Did I miss anything cheaper or is this pretty good?
