has anybody booked last minute August??

I am talking a couple of weeks before going, even a few days away. You see the good deals all year round, and some next day. I wondered if anyone had done this. We would be looking at 3 adults, 2 needing to travel on the same plane same day, other could follow on.

we got a deal off teletext a few years ago flights £99 each for 4 of us that was in 1998.we got it a week before as we had all readey been one that year.had £199 flights as well.We tend to book rooms seperately even before we had dvc

We booked with TCD in April last year for a flydrive for me and DD for Aug. With all car insurances it cost about £720.
After that prices rose and a couple of weeks before all seats had sold, by that time I`d persuaded DH to join us and it was too late!
So I wouldn`t bank on last minute deals but have a look ahead - the prices weren`t too bad.
