We are going on the 28th Feb so will be there for almost the first week of March - I've read about snow on the trip reports (eeek!) but is it pretty much guaranteed to be freezing cold?

We've been several times in March although usually the second week and only once had snow and it was really really cold that time and in fact it was our first visit, so every time since I've gone prepared, but we've ended up with very pleasant weather, sun shining and a little cold but not wet, March 2009 was fantastic with everyone walking around in hoodys or similar, no need for coats or jackets. :)

Orlando is usually below the freeze line, we went april last year and wore short sleeve shirts. At that time of year I worry more about crowds with spring break.

We had sleet and rain when we went in March, the temps didn't feel to cold but definitely needed a winter coat.

My first trip was on a February - and we weren't cold at all, just a bit of frost on the ground in the mornings, a bit of drizzle mid-morning, then the rest of the time it was dry - we had no need for scarves, gloves or hats (I think December and January are generally the coldest months at DLP, when you need your thermals and skiwear ;))

We've been twice in mid-March - once was dry, but cloudy and mild. The other was beautiful spring sunshine during the day, but getting very chilly at night because of the minimal cloud cover.

Well that's encouraging, thanks everybody! I don't mind it chilly but I hate it when it's so cold that you can't move and you just want to be indoors. My fave time of year is May/June or September/October but DD's birthday is in March and, as it's a suprise birthday trip for her, the date is kind of set for us this time round :)

Thanks for posting this - we're going in March too.

My first ever trip to DLP was in January (years ago, not January just gone) and it was soooooo cold!!!!!!!! Hoping March won't be too bad.

We were there the last week in Feb this year, and it wasn't cold at all. It was sometimes wet (as it can be all year round!), so we needed coats, but most if the time it was quite pleasant.
