Pool hopped to the Swan/Dolphin?
I was reading about the Grotto pool there and it sounds very nice. I was thinking of taking my two DS's 13&10 over from the BWV on our next trip. Are we allowed to poolhop there?
The DVC poolhop perk is "Members and their Guests staying with them at Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Beach Club Villas are permitted to use other Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney World® resort hotel pools"
The official Disney web site lists the Swan/Dolphin as: Other Deluxe Walt Disney World® Resorts: Walt Disney World® Dolphin, Walt Disney World® Swan"
The other thing that leads me to believe it would be ok to poolhop there is this listed on our perk page: "Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel: Cabana Bar & Grill - All day poolside dining. Open seasonally."
OK... tell me what you think:

There are some reciprocal perks between S&D and Disney. DVC members being allowed to pool hop isn't one of them. Is it possible you could get in? Maybe. But it is not "official".

PH not permitted and they are not truly Disney hotels. They are run by Starwood (Westin + Sheraton). Nice try but won't work.

The pool is very nice - but the cement can get hot! (as I'm sure is true at any pool) You must show your room ID to get towels. They log you in and if you don't return them, they charge them back to your room. I don't think DVC members are allowed to hop there. You could call the hotel directly and ask.
