Has a close date been announced for Mama Melrose?

I was thinking of booking the Fantasmic! package for Mama Melrose for our upcoming March trip.

I thought it was supposed to close in December, but it is still showing up. Has there been any word on when it's supposed to close?

I don't want to be left with nothing if they decide to close it any day now...

No date has been announced. Muppets have a rather cult following so be sure the blogosphere will Blow Up when a date comes out for the area to close.

Thanks! I guess I'll book it next week then. I'm assuming they would at least give more than 60-days' notice so they wouldn't have to cancel a bunch of reservations...

I don't think they are going to close it until well into the construction process. There is no need for them to close down the area (and lose a restaurant) until they are ready to start to retheme the facades and restaurants, which probably won't be until long after the coaster takes shape and possibly after MV3D is closed.

So it looks like the Scaring Program is about to commence in DHS, and it's definitely going to work as far as the cast member's reactions go.
