Hart's-Attack WDW LIVE!!! 3/21-3/26

First I want to say that I'm glad that your wife is home safe and sound. Thank her for her sacrifice...

Viewing your pictures gets me so excited for our upcoming trip in June. Can't wait! I've read up on the Kitchen Sink and want to try it so bad just for the experience... but I'm seriously lactose intolerant so I'll have to make sure that I double and triple up on my Lactaid if we do it.

This will be our second trip to WDW and I've always wanted to stay at the GF or the POLY, but our son is 12 and niece we're taking is also 12 and they saw the pics online and were like, NO WAY! Last time we stayed at the All Star Movies resort and our son LOVED it. This year we were going to stay at the POP Resort until my son saw the Sports and nearly lost his mind. So while the rooms (I'm sure) are smaller, he loves all the theming of the Value resorts. Doesn't hurt that it saves us money but more than anything, we generally only sleep in our rooms anyway. Perhaps at another time the hubby and I will go back and stay at one of the moderate or deluxe resorts. For now it's all about the kids so we go with the flow.

If we could have we would have stayed in the Value Resorts. As a military family we would have gotten 40% off value also. But we have 5 in our family and most if not all Value is geared to 4 people families. There is a suite at All Star Music but I called everyday trying to get it and it was booked.

To be honest the only reason we were at the GF was the monorail access, helped out alot with my wifes foot problems. However the busses were quick too.

We were in the resort from 10pm to 730a and most of it sleeping.

Our next trip will prolly be Beach Club, it is really cool over there. And I will be renting points from a DVC member. We spent 2k on the GF for 6 nights. I could have been 1/4 on our way to a DVC membership.

Thanks for the update. You will love the Beach Club. Nothing like a relaxing stroll to Epcot.

I dont have a daughter, and my wife is totally tom boy. So Jedi Training is the coolest thing at Disney world for our family. To have both our boys selected at the same time at the first showing was awesome. If you think this is not worth is or your considering skipping it, DONT it is the greatest thing ever for Star Wars Fan.

I love the pictures! Thanks for the report! Happy to know your wife is home. My husband is in the military, so not only do I thank your wife, but you and the boys as well! If our boys want to join the military, I would let them, but I figure that if they don't that's okay, too. They are serving now!
