Hubby and I went to see this yesterday afternoon and it did not disappoint, it was brilliant! I too noticed bits they'd chopped from the books - there is only one thing that I feel they should've kept in from the books to make more sense but other than that, I really enjoyed it. Will have to go see it again. The dementors looked great, Lupin's transformation was amazing. The kids look so grown up now. I'd thoroughly recommend this to anyone

Thanks for your concern Kaylee and Michelle. I am fine, made an appointment for my own opticians for tomorrow morning only to get home from work toady and find the other half on the carpet, it must have fallen out. So now I have to phone the optician again in the morning and cancel my appointment. They are going to think I am crazy!!!

........ we'll hopefully see it next week some time when the cinema is quieter but I'm looking forward to it having read your reviews !

DS and a friend got in last Tuesday - he enjoyed it too but thought it did not do the book justice........ however, he still wants to go with us to see it a second time........ just to make sure he agrees with his original opinion (Another niggle of his was that he thought Lupin was miscast - something about the voice?)

I enjoyed the film, although I was puzzled to why Hagrid's house had completely moved to a new location??
