Harry Potter Studio Tour

Just to let you all know, we went on the tour on Friday....and WoW....it was well worth the money:banana::banana:

I'm not a huge HP fan and I haven't watched all the films but I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, I have loads of photos on my FB page.

I can also now say that I have had Butterbeer in the only two places it is sold in the world:thumbsup2......mind you, I thought id tasted different to the one we had in Universal.....still YUK though :rotfl:

Glad you enjoyed it. I think it's a brilliant attraction - though I might be a bit biased as my son works there ;) I think it's well worth the money too when you think that these are all original sets and props. The craftsmanship is incredible and the Hogwarts model is simply stunning. I think I'm in the minority but I loved the butterbeer.

We booked a few weeks ago for 29th July. It was the closest date for a weekend booking at a decent time!! It seems very popular and I can't wait to go there.

I went on Saturday and had a great day. We were there for 5 and a half hours in all. 50 mins of that was queuing up for the broomstick. Butterbeer wasn't as nice as WWOHP. Loads of photos on my FB page if anyone wants to see.

Karen had a look thru them yesterday and said she wants to go more than ever now. I just looked thru and still not sure, it just doesn't mean much to me, I think I will drop Karen & Matt off.

Off to the Tour tomorrow. Can anyone tell me please, is most of the tour under cover? I have been wondering, due to the dreadful rain we have at the moment, if we are going to be outside much. Thanks.

Yes its nearly all inside. The one part thats outside you can keep out of the rain if you wish as there is a covered walkway.

Hello Chilly
thanks for that. How do I see your photos on Facebook. I couldnt find a link?

We love the frozen Butterbeer in Orlando, :cloud9:

dd bought butterbeer in a souvenir mug at universal and it tasted lovely!!
the second time we went a few days later and bought it again it tasted horrible, it didnt taste the same strength if that makes sense!

Karen & Matt want to go, I am not sure, I think £28 is a bit OTT for myself.
Those that have been how long did it take? I am considering sitting in the car park for them. It would take an hour+ to get to my Brothers and back.

I am with you on the prices... £100 for the family :scared1:

Mind you DD9 has been reading the HP books which has got her more excited about WWoHP. Therefore I know that heading down south to do this is on her to do list :goodvibes
