Just a few questions.... After literally waiting since the day they heard there would be a Harry Potter section added on to IOA, we are finally going to be able to take our kids next month! We had a lot of medical and financial issues and had to keep putting it off, but we are sooooo very excited to go now! Our son doesn't want to ride Dragon Challenge, but wants to photograph everything that he has heard is in the line area (Hagrids Hut...etc) Will we be able to walk him through the line without actually having to ride the coaster?

Also, would we need reservations to eat at the 3 Broomsticks and how do we make them?

Thank you!!!!!!:lovestruc

Hagrid's Hut isn't near Dragon Challenge, but is in the queue for Flight of the Hippogriff, the tame coaster formerly known as the Flying Unicorn.

Anyway, yes, he should be able to photograph things in the queue for all of the rides and then just ask a TM for the exit

True, but you can get some shots of the back of Hagrid's Hut from certain portions of the DC queue. The early part of this queue is elevated over the rest of WWoHP and has a couple good spots to take pics of Hogwarts and parts of Hogsmeade.

As for 3B, no reservations accepted for lunch or dinner. Reservations for breakfast is possible for those who purchase the HP "package", which I've never done.

I am a Harry Potter fan and I came to Orlando just to see wwohp. I even stayed at the lowes royal pacific hotel to get near IOA.
I was not impressed. I had my brother who was in a wheel chair so the castle tour was out of bounds they said for us to go through the regular que and exit at the front of the que for the ride. If you have no one with any problems tell the student at the entrance to the ride that you want to do the castle tour and they will direct you to the left side of the que. When you just get into the castle tell the student next to the locker room you want to go through the castle tour. They will direct you to another que. This will let you go through at a slower pace.
There are two problems with wheelchairs going into herbology you have to go up ramps to get to the area where you go back into the castle. Three ramps together. The other one is if you want to stop to take pictures you have problems with people wanting to go through to the ride. It is not a very wide lane. One thing I noticed is that the chains are painted black and are invisible inside the dark lane of the castle.
