Harry Potter in Lost Continent.... are they taking something out?

When Harry Potter tried to make a theme park with the blood of the Lost Continent, he actually tied his soul to the LC's, making the LC one of Harry's Horicruxes. Now, because LC sacrificed itself for Posiedon, when Harry kills Poseidon, a piece of his self will die.....and we will never have that Potter attraction......so I guess they better leave it alone

You guesse wrong. I am all for the section, as long as they dont completely tear what I love about the current section out by the shorthairs.

I agree with yaytezIOA, I too am looking forward to a HP section very much, but I don't want to see the best themed section in any theme park in the world torn out at its expense. Especially when they could easily find a way to accomodate both. They have plenty of space that could be utilized.

I don't mind them re-fitting Sinbad, and maybe starting the section around that area, but I definitely will be highly upset if they take out the Enchanted Oak, Mythos and/or Poiseidens Fury w/ the giant statue etc. Those building/structures are icons that should not be tampered with, not to mention great works of art.

I totally agree with Yaytez and Spidey7, LC is my favorite part of both parks (very close with Marvel Superhero Island)

I doubt they've done much. We probably won't see anything until after the first of the year.

As far as I know, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter island is taking over most of the current Lost Continent plus a little bit of unused area at the rear of the park. The new Lost Continent, if it still exists after all the renovation, will be a little sliver where Mythos is now. That's what Screamscape predicted anyway.

Just about everyone I know personally would completely disagree with this. I don't know anyone that doesn't list LC as their favorite part of IOA, (personally, I realize things differ on this board) at least theme wise, not so much ride wise.

Still hoping they don't take too much of it down. I hope they use Sinbad and go back, but now I'm a broken record probably.
