I know with the staggered open times now that everyone is probably approaching this the same way. I was thinking we'd do some time in US then ride the HWE over to IOA at 10 am. Has anyone done this? We have EP so wait time isn't a concern. Wasn't sure exactly what time we should get there. Also Just wonder if it would make more sense to go against the crowds and walk to IOA, maybe focusing on non HP stuff in the morning, or just going with the flow. Thoughts?

If you are going soon and not on a weekend, nothing is crowded. We were there a week ago and could do all of IOA Harry Potter easy. Thursday for IOA and Saturday for US - this was not too crowded either. We went and did other rides and came back to do Hagrid's again. The waits were maybe 10 min for any Harry Potter. We did not have park-to-park, so could not hop. I think your plan will work great.

You will be going with the crowds if you do this strategy. Everytime we've done rope drop at UO, gringrotts wait seems high then drops, same with hogwarts train. We usually drop back and do mummy, Simpsons and MIB then gringotts and ride the train over. We can usually do all that in less than 2 hours with no EP
