Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince....NO SPOILERS THREAD!!!

I really don't think the movie is going to end any differently than the book. :confused3

It would kind of screw things up if it did. :)

We won't be going until Saturday morning/lunch time. :sad2:

I hope not, but I don't want folks talking about how Snape looked when he did _________, and how Harry acted with Dumbledore in the cave, etc.

I want to see them for myself!

It's not an issue of spoilers per se its more an issue of us ensuring everyone who see's the movie 1st hold off for a few days before commenting on every scene before a good bit of us have a chance to see it.

::yes:: :thumbsup2

I bought tickets this morning forthe midnight showing for myself, my dh and two dd's. Anyway about 3 hrs ago I went to the library with my youngest dd. It was raining pretty good when we got out of the car so she ran for the house. Anyway she fell on the front porch step and went flying into the brick on the front of the house. She cut the side of her head open pretty good so I took her to the ER (my dh thought I was crazy) so anyway the doc didnt think it was too much to worry about but put one staple in it anyway to help it heal and quit bleeding. I told him that we had midnight tickets to see Harry Potter and could I still take her. His response was "What, does that start tonight? Man I wanna see that!":rotfl: He then proceeded to tell me that it worked out good because it would keep her up longer and make sure she didnt have a concussion. She's feeling fine now and is in good spirits but I will admit after the inital fear wore off when she first did it my first thought was "Man I hope we can still see Harry Potter"!!!

So, I don't know if you guys have seen this yet, but I'm gonna post it here anyway.

U of Michigan's "A Very Potter Musical"
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=C76BE906C9D83A3A

It's HILARIOUS. It takes all of the books and smushes them together into one musical. And they all are very talented singers/songwriters. Watch it, you won't be able to get enough of it. And it's definitely something that will tide you over until you can see HBP.

Wow, that was great! Very nice

Ok who else feels like a nerd/dork/crazy person getting this excited over a movie??

Not at all! I'm not ashamed to admit I love Harry Potter. :teeth:

DD is going to the midnight show. We are probably going to wait until the weekend. so PLEASE do not put in SPOILERS in this thread after tonight!!

Of course. I could never do that (I know I would be upset if I had it ruined for me).

Yikes! Poor thing. Glad to hear she is doing better.

Agreed- it was amazing! I can't wait to see it again!

It was good, I missed truly missed some things they left out (which I won't mention here...yet). It's the first movie I ever felt cheated on a bit. It was entertaining and the acting was spot on, I will require further reflection.

LOVED the movie!!! So glad we went to the midnight show!!!!

I'm going to see it tonight and I can't wait, don't know how to get through work!!!

It was my birthday yesterday so we went out last night and I was too tired to see the movie at midnight...feeling old already...

But tonight YAY!!!

Will there be somewhere on here we CAN talk about it without ruining it for others?
