Too far from the border to get US television?

If all else fails, you can do your own little marathon with your dvds and some popcorn. ;)

we're in toronto and are held by our cable company - we don't get hbo or abc family

we have over 300 channels but a lot of useless ones
:scared1:

We get that too. Lots o' channels and nothing on. :lmao: During the day when I'm off work, I usually "watch" one of the music channels I have with digital cable.

So, I don't know if you guys have seen this yet, but I'm gonna post it here anyway.

U of Michigan's "A Very Potter Musical"
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=C76BE906C9D83A3A

It's HILARIOUS. It takes all of the books and smushes them together into one musical. And they all are very talented singers/songwriters. Watch it, you won't be able to get enough of it. And it's definitely something that will tide you over until you can see HBP.

ps: so jealous those that can see HBP at midnight tomorrow... but I'm so excited to see it in IMAX on thursday in one of the 3 'official' theatres playing it in imax!

We bought our tickets today! We see the movie on the 15th at 12:01 am!!

Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20 mins less than 24hrs we'll be sitting in at the movies....

Ok who else feels like a nerd/dork/crazy person getting this excited over a movie??

i do - and i wont be able to see it until the weekend.

tell me allllllllllllllll about it when you guys get back. i've read the books i've seen the previews, trailers, behind the sceens so i know what's coming.

give honest opinions, talk about what should have been put in but wasn't, who's part was chopped to bits like percy's in 5

dish the dirt

My family and I will be at the theater at midnight! My cousin drove down from Indianapolis to share the movie with us.

We're doing our own marathon. We played the first 3 movies today. In between movies, my cousin is trying to re-read Order of the Phoenix. LOL!!

We're VERY excited here!

I have a job interview today so that is overshadowing my excitement a bit this morning, but I'm sure after the interview I will be beside myself with anticipation.

I'm waiting too. I went online this morning to check out the running time and saw that my theater sold out of 8 midnight shows, 5 12:45a shows and a 1:15a showing. Good thing I bought them the day after they went on sale. I took half a day off today and all of tomorrow just so I could relax and enjoy. In fact, I'm almost done now. Only an hour left till I can go home. YAY!!!

I just picked up my ticket and was told they have 5 showings at midnight. I will definately get there by 11.

Early reviews are generally good. I am most excited because nearly every one of them gives Michael Gambon and especially Alan Rickman a LOT of praise for their performances! I was never a big fan of Gambon (RIP, Richard Harris!), and was hoping that maybe it was just bad material that he had. It is sounding like with some substantial stuff in Half-Blood Prince, he is finally able to do it some justice. And Rickman is just so watchable - I can't WAIT to see his scenes!!

Here's some reviews that are up already:
