Went to Hot Topic last night to find a shirt to wear to the midnight premiere and is it just me or do they run extremely small? Geeze, I tried on a super cute baseball style tee in an XL and while it fit it was rather tight and I thought it would shrink up to nothing in the wash. Do only extremely small people shop there? I did find a cute regular cut tshirt to wear...I'm excited!

Yes, I think so! They're more "tween" sizes or at least "Junior" sizes in the women's.

I cannot wait! I've been rereading the books, and sadly I don't think I'll finish the 6th by then (only 1/2 way through the fourth, though I may finish the fifth). DH and I are rewatching the movies, but have only watched the first one. We've got some catching up to do!

I've finally realized that if I'm waiting for the movie... I should be watching the movies.... Unlike waiting for the last book to come out and reading all 6 in like 3 weeks. The more I watch the movies and read the books the more I realize even the first movie was way off from the book. They better not disappoint me.

And I haven't seen any deleted scenes yet. They just talk about a few of the characters and their role in the movie. If you go to imdb.com they have 8 trailers for the movie. Of course several scenes are repeated in each, like dumbledore and harry on the rocks, or dumbledore getting a memory to put into the pensive.

Yes, Hot Topic runs small in certain fabrics. I go with an ex-large in the thin fabric and it is TIGHT.
I run in large in the regular fabric and it is big.

I have my shirt [the purple one at Hot Topic with everyone on it] ready for the midnight premiere.

well here where I live, small town , the doors to the actual theatre open at 10pm. I'll probably show up at about 8 or 9 so I can get in line.

For goods seats it is probably dependent on how you theater is going to handle it. For example: For the Twilight premiere last year I bought tickets ahead of time online and showed up about an hour early. OMG! There were so many people there it was insane. I thought they were having like 1 midnight show, nope I think it was in about 9 theaters. So they didn't have lines for each one, they just started letting people in to the different showings at different times. My ticket was for 12:07 so I was one of the last theaters seated and I had no problem getting a seat b/c most people were still stuck in line for popcorn and a lot of the other theaters had already seated. It was pretty crazy. You might call and see how many showings your theater is planning on doing and if they have any procedures for crowd control. Good luck!

i'm sitting here listening to book 5 and in 5 minutes the movie version is starting on the movie channel.

soooooooo much i wish they put in the movie that they left out - like quidditch(sp) i so badly wanted to hear Weasley is our King and see Ron play for the first time.

they had the uniforms made and shot some scenes they just didn't bother putting them in i saw some behind the screens on them making the uniforms and they looked really nice.

it must be a US or London thing and it might even be a down town Toronto thing but there were no lines for any of the movies where we go. even for the 3d (what a disappointment) version.

i'm hoping it's the same for this one cause i don't do lines very often

Well I've got my tickets already, went to the window back in june. I'm not sure how many screens they'll be playing it on. But I know a couple of the screens have 3 level seating. We saw Indiana Jones from the third floor. While it wasn't too bad, it was a little too high for me. I guess cause i'm used to sitting below and looking up rather than straight ahead or a bit down.

I was thinking of going to Earl of Sandwhich for dinner. We like to get the kids pizza meal.

and is anyone else confused as to why they would expel Harry for using magic in front of Duddikins when the ministry itself sent him a magical howller letter which automatically opened and started talking in front of not 1 but 3 muggles.

if they were going to expel harry for magic outside hogworts shouldn't they fire themselves for the same thing?

I bought an XL and I normally wear a large (10 -12) so I hope it fits.

I am going to the midnight showing as well....i will be too tired on Wed.

You might call and see how many showings your theater is planning on doing and if they have any procedures for crowd control. Good luck!
