the letter comes in at 6.20. (funny enough the letter states that he used magic at 6.20 lol)

and also if the reason is that the ministry knows that the 3 people harry lives with know about the magic one would think they would know he performed magic in front of one of the ones who know about magic.

I bought an XL and I normally wear a large (10 -12) so I hope it fits.

I am going to the midnight showing as well....i will be too tired on Wed.

I'm so excited!!
For our premieres at Regal, me and my sister go at 9 out to eat then get there around 10:30 or 10 and wait in line. When they let you into the theater, we grab seats as best we can.
we have about 10 different showings and they had like security guards outside each theater making sure you were going into the correct showing.

according to that video, only one letter arrives, at 6:23 for magic preformed at 6:20. And it wasn't a howler, howlers are red enveloped that eventual burst into flames.

right but it comes from the ministry - and is read or spoken in front of muggles stating that harry is being expelled for preforming magic in front of a muggle.

what is that letter if not magic? it's just something that contradicts itself

I have grown up with Harry literally, the first book came out and he was 10 and so was I :] And now we are the same age again, 17 baby :] I have been reading the books since I was 10 since the first book came out.

Ok, so in the book there's several letters. One to expel from the ministry, two from mr weasley telling him not to leave, three from the ministry saying that he wasn't expelled but had a hearing, four from sirius saying not to leave the house, five a howler telling Petunia "remember my last".

The movie also screws up in book 3 or 4, when he's working on his summer homework and reading a book with his wand... ummm no, he reads with a regular lamp or flashlight.

it's funny because i didn't get the books until after i saw the first 3 movies. i had heard all the talk about it being a kids book, kids movie blah blah blah.

i saw the first movie was on our moview channel and thought ok i'll watch it. hey this is pretty good. for a kids movie.

a few weeks later the second one came out. ok not as good as the first but i can see where it's going.

third one came out and i was hooked. went out got all the books to date and read then one after another until i was done.

found out about the audio books and bought them - listened to them all.

the first movie i watched in the theatre #4 and dd was just a few weeks old. she slept through the whole thing. when #5 came out dd wouldn't sit through it so dh and i went ourselves and now a few days until #6 comes out and i don't think we'll bring dd to this one either.

but my parents are more then willing to watch her and let us go on a date night

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't he doing a spell there? I don't think he was just reading.

in the movie he ws doing the luminous spell to get light without having to turn on the overhead light so he could read a book without alerting his aunt or uncle and get in trouble

Found out from a friend that one local theater is doing a marathon of ALL the movies, leading up to the new one at midnight. I'm pondering whether to see if there's still tix left. I won't be able to do all of them due to work but might do part of them. AND they're including Chik-Fil-A for lunch and dinner.
