Harry and Meghan Netflix documentary

2 interesting things: yesterday all tabloids had articles that the security around the book rivalled the last Harry Potter book, but the Guardian still managed to get a copy.

If William gets physical when he is mad... then that couldn't be the first time. Then physical assaults must have happened before, like when you are a kid running around in the garden and not wanting to share a toy, or when you are student in a bar and had one too many... and then the press would no doubt have reported about it.
To keep a personality trait like that invisible for the rest of the world, while living in the spotlights..

And then during the argument saying "have a glass of water, I cannot talk to you when you are like this"...

What we know about William's personality and about Harry's from when they were kids and students, this incident sounds more like it should be the otherway around.

It sounds like a planted or modified memory.

No, one more thing that is interesting. Harry says that he didn't tell Meghan immediately, but called his therapist first.

So, he was (still) in therapy after he married Meghan and moved into Nott Cot.

What does this to Meghan's claim that she was denied a therapist?

Sounds like Harold was at the stage of no serious relationships. Should’ve gotten a houseplant .

Yes, what brothers don’t tussle sometimes?

”It was then that William told his brother to hit him back, a reference to scraps they had as children, Harry writes.

The Duke said he refused to retaliate and that William left, before returning 'looking regretful' and apologising.”

Oh, please. The martyr.

I agree that, if anything, I think it would’ve been Harry who was more enraged.

Selective memory, maybe?

More news:
William & Kate told Harry to wear the nazi-uniform to the party.
This right here speaks volumes about the veracity of any of his claims.

He seems delusional. But it fits with a lot of the rest of the “unbelievable on its face” stories we have heard.

Harry was 20 when the nazi-incident happened. Even if William and Kate joked to dress like this, he should have known better.

It shows 2 things:
- Harry doesn't take any responsibility for his actions. Always someone else is to blame.
- Harry isn't the brightest candle in the box.

Another interview on its way!

Also Good Morning America got an interview with Michael Strahan (do we like Michael Strahan?) and Harry calls William his arch-nemesis.

This guy has spent too much time in Hollywood.

Harry is acting like someone who has experienced trauma in his early life, which of course he has. He is allowed to tell his version of his life as he views it. But of course that will have consequences. It's sad to think that the brothers may never reconcile. I think Harry needed out of the family dysfunction, and Megan helped make that happen. William has to stay as he is next in line. I hope they all get help and can heal. It's sad that their shared trauma pushed them apart instead of helping them grow closer.

His mother died 25 years ago. Sadly she wasn't wearing a seatbelt, and her driver was legally intoxicated.
He was a couple of weeks short of 13 when it happened. It was a tragic time, but it was a long time ago.
He could be enjoying the blessings of life. He's had support, therapy. He's very fortunate to be quite wealthy. He doesn't have to work two jobs to provide for his family.
It's unfortunate he's stuck in the past, because he's missing living in the now.
I can see where his older brother will keep Harry at arms length. It's enough.

All that I can think now is that this family will never reconcile. The leak from the book that the Brothers got into a physical altercation is going to be just another brick in the wall (or several truckloads of bricks in this case) between them. They would need intensive therapy and a willingness on both sides to participate. And in the end would need to come to some degree of forgiveness on both sides for the hurt feelings they both have suffered. And *then*...they'd have to agree to form a wall around themselves that is impervious to the British press coming between them and their families again.

I don't see how any of that happens. I only see the rift getting worse and worse. It's all quite sad really.

So many children lose parents through tragedy. Most don't have anywhere near the support, resources or life of luxury he had. I am not diminishing his pain but his behavior, his actions are his own doing ~ not his mother's death. Others have grieved as hard and didn't spend their days finding ways to hurt others, upend a monarchy or constantly blame someone else for their behaviors. He and only he is responsible for his actions for at least the last 25 years.

I'm sure many of us remember the horrific accident that killed Princess Grace, an American turned Princess. Her daughter was with her, Princess Stephanie. She watched her mother die, she was in the accident, she had a long recovery and many were blaming her for the accident. She has not lived an easy emotional life, she obviously has carried heavy weights. But the one thing I can't find is the books she wrote, the reality tv show she made, the constant desire for attention.

American royalty Caroline Kennedy ~ the public losses she has endured. Her father murdered in public view, her uncle murdered in public view, her mother vilified and hounded by the press because of her new husband, her only sibling and wife dying in a plane accident. SO MUCH hate directed at her family. She has chosen to use her place in this world for positive.

There was so much potential for him to continue his mother's good works. SO MUCH! Being the spare offered him the opportunity to do things William can't do. He had advantages William will never have. It opened so many doors to make a difference, to carry his mother's legacy. He made a great start with his own legacy The Invictus Games but I fear his new ambitions might cause harm there. Sad.

One thing I have learned through all of this is that I think we were wrong about something. We all thought he was like his mother, I mean he looks like his uncle, a Spencer. We all thought he had that kind of heart and was going to keep her memory alive. I no longer see him as anything like his mother. With every extra tidbit of information he is so jealous of his brother, of his position, of his power. Maybe he never hated the monarchy, but was jealous of his brother ... and now he is on full revenge mode.

Harry consulted a medium (he calls her 'the woman') to get in touch with his mother.

I know some people get closure from mediums, and if it helps them, good for them. But I also get a creepy feeling about the medium. Mediums are usually just great at reading body language and micro-facial expressions.

The prince says the woman told him she felt an energy around him too, and said: “Your mother is with you.”
Harry replied: “I know. I’ve felt that of late.”
The woman, he writes, told him his mother was with him “right now”. Harry says his neck grew warm and his eyes watered.
The woman told Harry his mother knew he was “looking for clarity” and “feels your confusion”, and knew he had “so many questions”, and said answers would come in time.
The prince also says the woman told him Diana said: “You’re living the life she couldn’t. You’re living the life she wanted for you.”
