I have a friend that always buys us pears from H&D. We don't like fresh pears, but I hate to tell her! I'd rather she buy me 20 cans of pears for the price she spends on 4 of Harry and David's!

However, they have yummy cheesecake!

Good stuff but usually overpriced IMO.

Shipping is better this year but usually really high as well.

Harry and David is a little pricey, but they have some really delicious food!!! I go to the store, pick out my items, and then they arrange it in a basket and wrap it with plastic and attach a bow. Quite pretty! I will be doing this for my boss again this year. I also attach a gift card to Border's Books to the top of the basket. She enjoys reading and eating !!!!

I like Harry and David, however I buy it from the store.

We like the Crepe Mix, chocolate covered stuff and dd likes the Moosemunch candy bars.

I like Wine and Country Gift Baskets better. I agree with PP, when I do buy Harry and David, I buy the items seperately. Their stuff is good.

What do you mean by "gifted"?

I'm a big fan of Harry & Davrid. I love the preserves. And I use them a lot for gifts for people I don't know very well. Never had any problems.

I get it every year as a gift (Oregon friends) and I really do not think the chocolate is any good. Not to my liking anyway. I never tasted the jams and cocoas. I regifted them.
