Harmony Barbershop Pixie Dust.....

...reading a Kindle download today and it said that the sprinkling of Pixie Dust at Harmony had been discontinued.

Can anyone confirm or refute this?

Sadly this is true. During our last visit we were told by Michael (the best barber in the world!!) that due to BBB they are no longer supposed to do pixie dust. And, if I recall correctly, I believe they were limited to what they could do with the color hair gel as well.

They have not offered color hair gel for a couple of years, now.
The manufacturer of the stuff they were using stopped supplying it.

That's new info about pixie dust, however.

They have been doing pixie dust for years after BBB has been in operation.
Doesn't seem to be a direct connection there, certainly not a NEW connection.

Seems quite counterproductive to the whole raison d'être of the MK barbershop.

Awwwww. This stinks! I have an appointment scheduled for DD. I guess I'll just go buy some sparkle hair stuff and do it at the resort.

No!!!! That has been a tradition since our 1st trip when my DD got her 1st haircut there. We've been showered in mickey confetti every trip since then. On our most recent trip (Dec 2013), the confetti had changed. It was just gold confetti and there were no longer mickey heads. It was sort of a bummer but my kids still loved it. I hope this isn't true!

I'm not going to worry too much about this as a "new policy" until we get more firsthand reports.

There have been quite a few incidents of misunderstood info that turned out to be untrue.
