Harmony Barber Shop booked 141 days out?!?!

Need advice please!!!

Booked a December 4th reservation at 180 days for my son's first hair cut. We had to change our flights and now arrive at the appointment time. I called to change it for anytime the following week and they are completely booked!!!!! At 141+ days out!

Any real chance at getting another appointment? How? Call closer to 60 days? call everyday the month before? First thing in morning walk in?

We are SO disappointed. We have been planning this for over a year. (he will be 22 months in December and has just started to get hair so this was perfect)

I have never been able to get an appointment yet my DS has had his haircut there twice! Go right there at rope drop and you will most likely have a very short wait. We never waited more than 15 minutes.

I didn't realize the barber shop was a 180 day booking! We're planning to get our 2 year olds first hair cut there next year.

Do these work like ADRs with 180+10 or 180 exactly from the date you want?

We have always done a walk-up. December 4th *shouldnt be* as crowded. Go first thing, or during a parade or lunch rush and I bet you will be fine. Good luck!

I originally made an appointment at 180 days out for two haircuts. On the scheduled day we wanted to leave the park early due to weather and were able to walk in and get 2 hair cuts with only a 10 minute wait at around 2pm.

I just called to make my sons first haircut and got one- for 30 days from now.

My friend did a walk up to the barber shop on our Nov 2014 trip. She had to wait a bit, but they did get her in.

Thanks everyone. I guess I shouldn't panic. I will wait until October and start calling periodically. Otherwise, we will try for a walk up and wait. We have several MK days to try during our trip.

Yes booked at 180+10 and had wide availability.

I just called today for our August trip and was able to get a 12:30 slot. I was hoping for first thing, so I might call back and cancel and just get there first thing. But I was able to get a time. I'm sure you'll be fine trying later.

Definitely try back and don't worry! They only take 2 appointments per hour; one on the hour and one on the half-hour, so there aren't many available to begin with. You'll get in!
