There’s no story or narrative. It’s beautiful to look at and I like the music for obvious reasons, but it feels soulless and very much NOT EPCOT.

This would have actually been great at Animal Kingdom as a replacement to Rivers of Light.

Well IMO those gigantic barges were definitely not worth it. It was just one pretty song from a Disney movie after another until the end. It was not unique or special. I would prefer Illuminations back.

When did DIsney lose their ability to tell a story?
Just finished watching and really underwhelmed. Reminded me of the first time I watched Rivers of Light.
Multiple short snipets of IP does not make a story.
I keep hoping that seeing it in person will be much better. However listening to the crowd, I don't think I've ever heard that little cheering for a good night time show (especially when it was over).
Technically it looks good, just has no soul. It lacked the soul of Illuminations or Wishes.
I was hoping the show would make up for the loss of a beautiful view across the lake. It doesn't.
I may be wrong, but this looks like a one and done.
Was really hoping for more.

I agree. I liked a couple sections a lot, but for the most part I was kind of uninspired. It’s certainly no Illuminations. I even liked Epcot Forever better, except for A Whole New World.

The finale was decent and I was glad to see the Hunchback get some attention.

Zero emotional pull... visually nice to look at, but no real story line. The new musical arrangements made it hard to know what the song was... I often had to rely on the video screens to say "Oh, that must be from Mulan." Overall, it tugged at my heart about as much as Rivers of Light...

All newer songs. That is oldest Disney movie one seemed to be short clip from Jungle Book. I thought for sure there would be something from Mary Poppins and Cinderella. Surprisingly heard nothing from Frozen. And where was Wish Upon a Star. Guess this old person wants older songs.

Agree, was not a fan of many of the new arrangements. Some were very hard to know what they were without the screens.
